Horribly unprofessional to completely ignore a couple with a 8 month old baby. Unable to use water in there home for a whole week. The day they said they would come for a repair at 12 did not call or show up. Had to call at 2 they said it would be 30 minutes.  Then 4 o clock rolls around an hour before they close and fail to answer any phone calls. Unprofessional and do not reccomend.

I requested a sewer inspection on the phone and via text because I was thinking of buying a house. Instead, they pumped the sewer and charged me $250. When I realized they had performed the wrong job, I called them. He did not want to refund the cost, and did not return my call.

The substance that they pump from the ground is worth more than this company’s quality of work.
Didn’t fix issue, only made it worse.
Wouldn’t answer phone or call back after they were “done”
I would never recommend this company to anyone, not even flush a toilet.

This company does not care about you or your time.I set up an appointment with them and I took off work for it. After they did not show I called and the lady said they lost my appointment so she took my information again and said they are sending someone out. No one ever came. They cleaned out my parents septic tank. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They explained everything and answered my questions. I was able to make an appointment right away. They are very honest. I will recommend them to anyone that needs anything dealing with septic services. They’re great people to deal with !

Only cleaned one side of our septic tank, then wrote a false inspection, which he charged 100 dollars for, saying our system was showing signs of failure, and wrote an expensive estimate, when there was nothing wrong with our system. We had Septic Solutions come out 4 months later and found that the second side of the tank had not been cleaned out. Septic solutions dug up the second lid and cleaned out the tank completely. I called James Norris myself, explaining our situation, and asked for a refund. He said he would check into it and call me back. After no response for a week, I tried to call again, but my phone was blocked. My wife called him back, and he told her there would be no refund. I then picked up the phone, and he told  me the same thing, and began cursing at me, then hung up.He then left my wife a text message stating his address was on the invoice if we have an issue, and we took that as a threat. Don’t get scammed and taken advantage of like we did!

We stand behind our work 100%. If we felt we wronged you, we would've made it right. We install and repair systems daily. We know what we are talking about. Fact is, your system IS failing. Your tank is overfull because it isn't discharging properly. If you'd like, I can have the health department inspect, at my expense. During wet season, your issues will return.  A dry season inspection is very different from a wet season inspection. Issues arise in wet season, if a system is not operating correctly.The itemized list I gave you are things you need done to prolong its life. If ignored your system will be a complete failure. Although we stand by our assessment, we did offer $100 back and you vulgarly cursed us. When your issues return over the next few months, I'd appreciate an apology.. Good luck!

Had an issue with our septic. Came on the day they said they would. Even though he was very busy, he did not rush the job. Very knowledgeable, and gave me some great advice since I have never had septic before. Great company, reasonable rates, even installed a riser to make the next visit easier. I would highly recommend.

Lasaundra is very professional and gets the job done. She was able to give me all kinds of info on my septic system, and told me I needed a riser to pass inspection on a house I was selling she came back the next day and had that installed! I highly recommend this company!!!

I’ve been waiting over two months to get my tank fixed. Norris says they’re having trouble locating my old tank. Instead of finishing my job, they’ve pushed mine to the side to take on other jobs. That’s no way to conduct business. If they couldn’t do my job I wish they had told me so I wouldn’t have wasted my time.

As you can see by the court report, Mr. Kaisers statement is not truthful. He hired us to run a new line from foundation to his tank. He had a new system previously installed and they did not run a line from his addition, they only ran the line from the original side of house. Mr. Kaiser showed us exactly where at the foundation the old line was coming through. As we tried to locate his old line for removal and replacement, we realized that the addition built had no plumbing from the new bathroom to foundation, therefore, there was no possible way to install the new line. After MANY( which I can prove through Verizon records) harrassing phone calls, I decided to refund him $1,000 (that we proved in court that we earned.) The harrassment continued and actually got worse, and I explained to him that I didn't even have to give him anything back to begin with, and this is exactly the reason why we get deposits to begin with. The following court report shows where I owed him nothing, if anything, he owes me.

Pursuant to the General Order of Reference, directing Magistrates to report generally as to their
findings, the Magistrate reports his findings and recommendations as follows:

B. DECISION
Plaintiff Bradley Kaeser brings this action for breach of contract against defendant Norris Septic

The parties do not dispute that they entered into an agreement whereby Norris would install an
underground pipe to a septic system on Kaeser's property They also do not dispute that
Kaeser made an initial payment of $1.750 or that Norris refunded $1,000 of that deposit after
the parties terminated their agreement. The parties do not dispute that Kaeser terminated the
agreement Kaeser argues that Norris breached their agreement and seeks damages in the
amount of the $750 it withheld

To prevail on a claim for breach of contract, a plaintiff must prove 1) the existence of a contract
2) that plaintiff fulfilled its contractual obligations, 3) that defendant failed to fulfill its contractual
obligations and 4) that plaintiff incurred damages as a result. S&G Invs, LLC v. United Cos.
LLC, Clermont App No. CA2010-03-017, 2010-Ohio-3691, 1 12. Norris testified that it
performed four days of exploration-excavating portions of the ground looking for the old
septic system. He also testified that he spent 24 hours working on the project and incurred
costs of $132.50 per hour.

Ohio courts have long held that the function of a damage award in a breach of contract action
should be to put the injured party in as good a position as full performance of the contract would
have done. F. Enterprises v. Kentucky Fried Chicken Corp. (1976), 47 Ohio St 2d 154, 161
Any award of damages would be subject to a credit for work performed by the defendant
Thomas V. Johnson, Hamilton App No C-800294, (April 29, 1981). Kaeser concedes that
Norris performed several days worth of work on the property. He fails to dispute Norris
testimony regarding the expenses he incurred in performing the work or provide any evidence to
establish an alternate value to the $750 withheld by Norris. Kaeser also concedes that he sold
the property without completing the work. As a result, Kaeser has failed in his duty to show that
he is entitled to any refund of his deposit. See S&G Invs, supra see Thomas, supra.

Accordingly, this action is dismissed with prejudice.

Don’t use them!!!

If I could give them a zero I would- they did an “inspection” on our tank. After being here for 15 minutes they replaced a filter and told us we were fine. After my husband mentioned the smell coming from the tank, they said it was nothing and probably not our tank at all. A day later the smell was worse- my husband called other more reputable places that said they have fixed issues from Norris all the time!!! We had another company come out that found a hole in our pump line, I watched them inspect the system and they spent 45 minutes to an hour checking to make sure everything was running properly - unlike Norris. The second company did the job and Norris took 150 dollars (not including the filter cause that they actually didn’t replace(which only took two minutes)) DONT HIRE THEM! THEY DIDNT RETURN MY EMAILS OR CALL ME BACK TO ACTUALLY INSPECT MY SYSTEM AFTER THEY FAILED TO DO IT THE FIRST TIME!
