  Really really enjoyed these guys. We built a new house and we were the GCs for our build. Minyard was the best subcontractor we had. Scott was very professional and answered my questions anytime I called. They also came the day they said every time unlike every other contractor. Highly recommend

  I called Minyard Plumbing and asked them to come fix my ailing water heater. They sent two employees out, and after about 40 minutes, they came to tell me that the problem was a broken lower element and they had fixed it. The bill was $117, which seemed reasonable. The next morning when I went to take a shower, I had only a little bit of hot water, same problem as before. I called Minyard and spoke with Amy, and she informed me that she could send someone out to my house to look at it but that there would be additional charges for labor and likely additional parts. I told her that their workers had told me with no hesitation that the water heater was fixed and that I believed at the time my payment was compensation for a successfully completed job. She said there was no warranty on the work done because there was no evidence her men had done anything wrong, and they should be paid for any future time they spent troubleshooting the problem. I even asked her if the previous visit's expenses could be applied to the purchase and installation of a new water heater, and she said no. I really thought that Minyard would make this right, but I was surprised to find that getting a job done accurately and at a fair price was not something the company cared about. They accepted no responsibility for their faulty diagnosis, and showed no interest in working with me on the matter. I would strongly recommend that you not use Minyard Plumbing both because the staff operates in an unethical manner and because the workers don't seem to be very good at their jobs. I had to call a second company out to my house, which quickly diagnosed the problem and got my water heater working. I think this second company will actually stand behind its work.

  After hearing great reviews about the work they did for my in-laws, we hired Minyard Plumbing to rough-in the bathroom, utility sink, and washer in our unfinished basement. I couldn't be more pleased with the prompt and friendly service that we received. They went above and beyond to communicate with us every step of the way, and I would highly recommend Minyard Plumbing!
