  We are flooring company with most of our clients being Villagers. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service for obvious reasons. I tried to schedule a plumber today (a Friday) for my client and got the most unprofessional run around by their very inexperienced CSR's. A "Mr. Dougherty" proceeded to call me after I did all that was asked of me by them to say "he received word from his CSR's they were upset by how I spoke with them?" I said, "I'm sorry but what? Sir, your CSR said I could not make an appointment for a homeowner on my own and that the homeowner had to give permission first? Yet, two weeks ago I made an appointment and nobody asked for the homeowners permission? Our business credit card was charged for the service and I never received an invoice via email like they said I would? Is this a new policy because we've been doing business with you for 8-9 years?" He said, "he had no record of it?" I said, "I can show you the charge on our business account? I am not making this up." Rather than answer me he just kept interrupting and being rude! Here HE was doing the very thing he ACCUSED me of doing to his untrained staff!?! I had already called my client to have them call Mike Scott Plumbing to give them permission and asked my client to have them call me for my company credit card to pay in advance for the appointment which they did. My client then waited all day for Mike Scott to show up but no one ever showed up so they called them only to find out they had scheduled them for Monday! My customer said to them, "So you know I have a leaking toilet and you scheduled me for Monday and were not even going to let me know?" When I found this out, I was appalled by their absolute disregard for the homeowner they had originally cared so much about? I am happy to report that I called ANTHONY TORRI PLUMBING and the wonderful woman Rebecca heard my story, stayed late on a Friday to ensure my customer would be taken care of first thing Saturday morning and at a better rate than Mike Scott was charging us!!! I promised to send all our business to them and WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH MIKE SCOTT PLUMBING EVER AGAIN! I have to think Mike Scott himself (may he RIP) is rolling over in his grave at the incompetent and unprofessional fools running his business located in Wildwood. Monday morning I followed up with my client to see how satisfied they were with Anthony Torri Plumbing and they said they were very pleased that the plumber (named Todd) was very professional, on time, and even checked the other toilets in the home before leaving. I truly hope Mr. Dougherty and his staff learn a valuable lesson in customer service after reading this review.

  Try to get sink put in came out Friday at 430.pm. First guy had no clue. call for back up next one said had to cut whole wall out. Just did not want to do job on Friday. stay away call someone who can do the job.

  I highly recommend Mike Scott Plumbing. Live in The Villages, Fla. They sent out a technician on the same day to replace our kitchen faucet. Seth/technician, was extremely professional, arrived on time, and did an excellent job! Price was very reasonable.
