  Mike was very professional and did an excellent job on everything. He also noticed several issues that needed to be repaired or upgraded that had nothing to do with plumbing, he just thought that I should be aware of them as a homeowner. He even explained how to do the work myself. He's not the cheapest plumber out there, but he's not the most expensive either. Quality plumber, I would definitely recommend him.

  I called for a quote for some work. I’ll give him a couple of stars for asking questions and listening to answers as well as giving some advice. First, his quote was 3x that of other businesses I called and he seemed to think the work was too much. He asked me about the ditch to be dug and the work under my house. I let him know I had completed the ditch. He asked if I had a husband. I said I don’t see how that is applicable. He said it was applicable because if I had a husband, he could “go under the house and do that work because a plumber isn’t going to want to” and that it was work that a man could do better than a woman. I said I don’t see that to be true and he said “well, get it done I guess.” I said I usually do. I declined to hire him and will be looking for another plumber who can respect women as human beings and has reasonable rates.

  First, he was at my home for 2 hours. He charged me for 4.5 hours. He replaced 2 hoses on my washer. He had to go under the house to see what was leaking, and removed two mice. I drove him to get the hoses, and he made comments about how nice my home was, and why I wasn't married...inappropriate. He charged me $104 for the hoses. Then he hooked up my washing machine. For this job, I was charged $650. Make sure you ask how much the job will cost, and document the time he is at your home. Local builders won't have him bid their jobs. Gee, I wonder why?
