Nice place to shop for tools and hardware.  Some of the cashiers could be friendlier.  I would have a better impression of the store.  All in all, a nice place to shop for gardening stuff.

When you go to the back desk to ask a question no one greets you or says they will be right with you. Full of unfriendly selfish people. Maybe it's just people today. When I worked retail back in the 80's I went out of my way to help everyone and to be friendly.

They have the items were looking for we needed a storm door hinges and bam they had it we also need a bathroom light with heater and fan combo,they had it, which I might add you can find a all 3 combo just anywhere. The gentleman that helped us he was very informative and helpful which helped us use diffrent ideas then originally planned!

This is a great store to shop, especially if you just want to dash in, grab something and get out.  By keeping the majority of their lumber out in the 'yard' they've kept the store size down compared to the big 'warehouse' stores.  They may not have the variety of selection those other stores have either but I very seldom have not found what I went in for.  If they don't have what you want and don't have to have it 'right now' they'll order it for you.  They are not much on discounts some stores offer, such as a disabled vet discount I get elsewhere but, their prices are good and their products good quality.  What they will do, if you are buying in any quantity like say maybe you want to build a shed, is give you a volume or job discount.  They have always been pretty reasonable about that.
Finally, it's a family owned store that believes in being closed on Sundays.  Now, that's not important to everybody and an inconvenience to some but, I'm one of those to whom it counts.
I recommend it as a place to check with when planning a job, for sure.

We like going in here because its smaller than Lowes with competitive prices. Even cheaper on some things (like lumber).

The employees are helpful and personable. One big benefit to Mccoys is that they load the lumber in your truck for you.

All the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. McCoy's is my go to place when I need to get fertilizer, lumber or material  for a home project.

I came into the store today very exasperated.  Miguel from the contractor's desk area (or wherever they pulled him from) was wonderful! After my ranting, which was not his fault at all due to me coming in with my attitude,   he took all the time I needed discussing roofing shingles with me.  He even pulled me samples from roofing bundles to take home with me. I could not be more pleased and I will make McCoys my first stop whenever possible.  Thank you Miguel for a wonderful shopping experience.  Your professionalism and customer service skills are spot on.
