    The prior owner of my home had Master’s Waterproofing do work on the home. I received paperwork at the house closing showing that work was done in the basement with a lifetime guarantee. However, when I called to have them come to the house to stand good on their guarantee (as the basement had a mild case of mold in it), they conveniently told me they had no record of ever working on the house. I had to provide the proof. I wish I had never asked them to follow through with their “lifetime guarantee.” They left my tile ceiling in the basement damaged, threw away the custom trim (which did not have mold), left the job undone above the windows, AND left an electrical cord AND outlet hanging from the ceiling. Doubt that would pass electrical code! See photos. I will have to spend a lot of money to correct their unprofessional, uncaring, lack of regard for other’s property. When I contacted the owner about sending someone out to finish the job properly, he refused and said the person he sent to do the work completed it. Clearly that is not the case! At the mere mention of me saying I might should get an attorney, he ceased all communication with me. Look elsewhere. It’s not worth the risk with this company! They very well could treat you and your property the same way they did mine. Update 4/6/22 in response to Carl—I have not called your company because I do not wish to deal with you or your company anymore than I already have. It’s the prior owner that ceased all communication with me upon mentioning I should maybe get an attorney after the job was left undone and the former owner refused to send the person (you know him very, very well) to complete the job. You’re personally a nice enough guy, but the work was beyond disappointing, which is why I called your former owner and boss at the time. Maybe that’s not how your company conducts business anymore, but this is what happened to me. You will not find a record of working on my basement in the past four years. It was in 2015 (but now very relevant again since I’m preparing to sell), and I have a new last name. But if you came to my house, you’d remember the job. I’m sure you’ve done good work for people recently because I’ve read the other reviews. But that simply wasn’t the case with my home and our encounter. Because I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt that you no longer conduct business in this manner, I will update my rating to 3 star service.

    3/15/22 Ms. Harris, this is Carl from the Master company, I work for the company, and have for thirty years and I now own the company for the past four years, one thing we do not do here is stop communication's with our customers and if our guys had done work like that I would personally make sure everything is rectified, so if you would please, call our office at (270) 769-3434, and our office manager will set up a time with you for me to come and check the whole situation out. Update 3/25/22 After searching our calendar and all our records over the last 4 years that I have owned this business we have no records with your name. If you had spoke with us about an issue in the last 4 years we would have had your name on our calendar or in our records of service. Our warranty is on the property no matter who owns it therefore if you had set up a service with us in the last 4 years we would have records with your name. If you spoke with someone claiming to be the owner of this company in the last 4 years it was not me. I would never stop communication with a customer. You also have not contacted us after leaving this review as requested. I will ask again for you to please call our office so we may get you scheduled for a full inspection of the work you are claiming to be ours and to rectify any issues I find. I pride myself on our company doing the work we promised at the price we promised as neatly and cleanly as possible. 4/7/22 Thank you for updating your review. The warranty on the work does transfer automatically with the sale of the home. If you or the new owners would like for us to inspect the work and fix any issues don't hesitate to call our office and I will come out and check everything out.

    I don't have enough words for this local business. I called so many others to get my crawl space looked at as the main support beam was in bad shape. They came, gave me an estimate, told me how long the process would take. Very pleased with price! Even more so with the extreme work ethic they had. The day of work, it was storming-bad! They never stopped, from mixing concrete to walking those buckets to the back yard, they kept on keeping on. 3 days later they came back to lift the beam 😀 The cracks in the wall started to disappear! FANTASTIC WORK!! Thanks to that, we were able to finish the floors and paint. Truly, very appreciative of their hard work! Thanks so very much!

    I've had four houses where Master Waterproofing saved the day and stopped water from entering the basement. For two of them, they dug the dirt away from the house and sealed the exterior wall, replacing the dirt and even putting the landscaping stones back in place (see photo), on another house they installed a complete French drain system, and on the 4th house they stood behind a warranty given to a previous owner years ago, coming back and repairing a French drain system that had started leaking because the house had settled. It's this commitment to their warranty that impresses me the most.
