  Called Marshalls in January for a suspected problem with the septic tank. I had sewage backing up into my house when I used the water. They pumped my tank for $225 and said that should solve my problems. Once 3 weeks had passed, I was back to where I started. Upon calling again, they said they would pump me again and look in the tank and see if they could see anything. I was pumped and told that there wasn’t anything additional wrong and charged $225 for the service call. I noticed after that the area around my inlet cover hadn’t been uncovered. 2 days later when I had time, I opened the tank myself and found a clog in the inlet, and a chamber full of solid waste, as if they hadn’t pumped anything at all. When I called to ask them to fix it, the woman on the phone who claimed to be management was VERY rude and talked over me and said they would never do any such thing. No ownership of poor service, wouldn’t fix it, wouldn’t even address the problem. I would never ever recommend Marshall’s to anyone.

  Had Marshalls come out for initial septic inspection when buying home. I was on site entire time they pumped out system. they only pumped out 2 tanks. Came out 3.5 years later to pump out system to replace pump. Technician called me at work and had my wife turn off all water to house, because tanks were still filling after he had pumped out. A couple months later, my entire septic system backed up and nothing was leaving house. Had a plumbing company come out to find problem. After two days, they found there was a holding tank that had never been uncovered or dug up. It did not have caps like the other two. Called to see if they would take care of problem that they never informed anyone of. How did you give a clean inspection if you didnt pump all tanks that you knew about? No where on my inspection form. Heard they were a reputable company but obviously they do not stand behind there work. I am a Class A contractor and would never do business like this!!! Do not use unless you want to keep paying for them to come back doing partial jobs.

  Richard came out just a couple of hours after I called with a septic issue. He quickly determined that the filter was clogged and we had him pump while he was here. He was extremely helpful in providing tips and timelines for filter cleaning, pumping, enzymes etc...he even recommended a certain screw for the cover as a better option as they are less likely to strip out. Good job Marshalls! We will call again when needed and refer to others.
