  My furnace stopped working last night. I called at 7:15am. Had an appointment for repairs at 8:15 and I was back to work by 10:00 with a new capacitor for my furnace ams a new thermostat. Wonderful work and very professional. I give them 100%.

  This place is a RIP OFF!!! Had them out to my house to clean and inspect my furnace (roughly 12 years old) and was told that my heat exchange was cracked. I was also told that they would fix it for just under $5000!!! Since I refused to pay for a new furnace, the employee refused to put my furnace back together knowing how cold it is outside. After asking the employee to leave, I quickly got on the phone to have another furnace company come out ASAP to inspect my heat exchange. After having a different company inspect, I was told that there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with my heat exchange. I will never call or recommend this company to anyone ever again!!

  The Magnum Plumbing + Heating Service Team is very sorry for your experience. All furnace replacement quotes are generated and approved through our service manager at the office. The technician did not quote a price of $5,000. Our service technicians are not paid commission or any other compensation whatsoever for selling equipment. The experienced technician that inspected the heat exchanger on your furnace was not willing to risk the safety and health of your family by assembling the hazardous furnace and turning it on. He strongly disputes the findings of the other furnace company. Carbon monoxide in the home is a very dangerous hazard that can cause permanent physical damage and death. Please monitor your family for any "flu-like" symptoms including: headache, dizziness, weakness, vomiting, chest pain, and confusion. We propose that we return to your home with the Grand Rapids Mechanical Inspector to examine your equipment.

  When my air conditioner quit working, they made time in a fully-scheduled day to come offer advice and an estimate. They were able to repair it during the visit and it was less than half of the other estimate I had gotten! Such good service and I really trusted their employee.
