Long's plumbing was recommended by our family friend when our furnace went out in December for a few days. The furnace needed to be replaced completely. They were able to replace it the same day they came out, in about 4 hours! Very professional and helpful.

We have lived in Northville for 20+ years, and have been long time customers of Longs. Needed a service call today, and as always received a quick response. Service Tech, Jeff J., was outstanding. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable

Wanted to tell you what a fantastic job Ashly does on your phones.
I literally talk to 300+ Shops a week selling software for service providers, and I am (unfortunately) surprised by this great Customer Service!

I had an install of a new furnace today. There was a residual issue with the AC airflow after the install. Jeff J came to my house after hours and thoughtfully and kindly fixed the issue. He was responsive, professional, and good natured about it. I was not charged for the after hours fix and couldn’t be happier. When things don’t go perfectly at first, the best outcome is a responsive technician who solves the problem. Jeff did that with a smile. Five stars, great company, great value. I will refer relatives and friends.

Hands down Long Plumbing, Heating and Cooling are just the best!!!Of all the service providers we have had in all the the places (multiple states) they exceed expectations every time. The technicians are salaried not commissioned they fix what ever you need the right way the first time. I wish they would move to Georgia with us.  They replaced our old unit and added an extra upstairs unit per our request( hubby likes to sleep cool) and did everything perfectly they are tidy neat and clean workers even their trucks are immaculate!  I had a small bathroom remodel and the designer and team were fantastic! we were treated like it was an important job.  I feel completely comfortable with everyone they sent to my house and have even left on occasion.

Cannot say enough good things!!! They are the best!

They were able to get us on their schedule for a leak in our plumbing. Jason was thoughtful on his approach to finding and replacing our copper plumbing with new piping. Despite having to cut a hole in our drywall and work in the ceiling, they left the space clean and we are leak free. Thank you!

I called the office Monday for information on backflow testing, which I was completely clueless about. I had called 8 other companies on the certified list, AND the city,  and was met with rude, unprofessional people. I called Long's and spoke to Ashley. She was SO very nice. She explained everything cheerfully, and in great detail. I found out everything I needed to know, Ashley made it easy to understand and she was so professional and kind. It has been a LONG time since I talked to someone in customer service who treated me that well. I will certainly be using Long's for future needs and recommending them to all!

First time using Long Plumbing and I couldn't be more pleased.  Spoke to Ashley regarding drain issues that I was experiencing and she reassured me that they could get job done.  That same day 2 gentleman showed up and resolved all of my plumbing issues, poor drainage and leaking pipes, in just a couple of hours.  I really appreciate the entire effort of the Long Plumbing team!

I do not recommend Longs unless you know specifically what you want and are a builder/designer. They are not for consumers who want to upgrade a room. They are not friendly and frankly I felt they just wanted me out of the store. One example, I was given advice on a faucet from them and when it was determined it was not going to available for 3-4 months, I asked for something similar. The front desk person just sifted through a delta catalog to see what faucet was available, not one that fits our design preferences, etc. (Note: I was able to find the faucet at Lowes and delivered within 3 weeks).

I get that they might not keep stock on hand but I should not be shuffled through each faucet in a catalog to give me what delta has in stock at that time. It was rude and I felt demeaned because this is now how I wanted to get my room designed.

A second example was for the 2nd bathroom for a quote for shower doors (European style). In the initial quote, we got a quote for regular shower doors. When I figured out that this was for regular doors, I asked for a requote. So, I set up an appointment for them to come out a 2nd time. However, a few hours later, another person from the store left a message on my phone with a quote that was over double. Needless to say, they didn't even do the order correctly the first time, they were inconveniencing me with their person to come out again but then also giving me a quote without even getting the order right in the first place. It seemed to me their back office and front office don't even talk.

It had nothing to do with the money but I lost complete trust that they even care to do a good, quality job. So, I cancelled the appointment and will not be calling them again.

We want to fully support small business but not Longs after giving numerous chances.

Thank you for your note.  We have looked into these issues.  Regarding the faucet, we are glad you were able to find something at Lowe's, however please know that plumbing fixtures sold at these places are a different product (made with cheaper materials) than we get from our suppliers, that is the reason for the difference in availability.  We are very sorry that you felt this way about your time in our showroom, it is not how we want our customers to feel.  A lot of people want to look through a catalog to see all options, it is understandable that this is not everyone's desire.

Regarding the shower door, I believe there was just a miscommunication regarding the regular vs. Euro door style on the initial quote.  Once this was realized we were able to re-quote it for a Euro door style, which is typically double the price.  These quotes are done 100% based on measurements usually provided by the homeowner, no one needs to come out to do the quote.  We already had your measurements so were able to provide a quote this way.

This was in no way a slight to you, we are sorry it appeared this way.
