I'm beyond frustrated starting yet again at 4am this morning dealing with another loud water leak that awoke me. It's part of the ongoing problem I've been dealing with for months knowing we have defective Pex piping and have had Lee Company out for repairs and a full consultation and quote to replumb, replace and repair pipes, duct and HVAC units, along with the drywall, flooring, and mold damage resulting from this defective piping. I've been delayed and delayed trying to get a homeowners insurance quote started because the people who have come out, can't simply email me the quote. Hiller had it the same day, but I kept wanting to trust and reuse Lee Company for this massive undertaking based on years of experience, especially with my commercial properties. This morning is just my breaking point as I've got tons of emails where I have followed up with your customer service and been told, "No problem, we'll send it to the field manager and get that to you today." I've never gotten anything.

Makes me sad to leave a low review. Nothing against the technicians we’ve had. They’ve all been so wonderful and helpful! The issue is Lee Company’s unresponsiveness. I have the maintenance plan where they come out twice a year to inspect our air conditioner— basically to catch anything before it breaks. The technician we had in the spring was great! We’ve been trying for weeks to see one in the winter. That’s where this review comes in. My husband started calling several weeks ago to get someone to come out. They never answered the phone any time he called. Then, when they called him back, their calls went straight to voicemail. That goes for his cell, his work phone, and his friend’s phone that he used to call Lee Company. All to voicemail. After weeks of this, I finally decided to submit a form on their website so there would be a paper trail. I sent a follow up email after 4 days of not hearing back. I received an email back at that time that said they could come out the next day. I responded same day, within a few hours, and said that would be great. I waited at home all day for them to come, and then got an email in the afternoon that said sorry, all of our time slots are booked. But I was not the one who initiated that time, Lee Company is the one that offered ME that time slot and then told me AFTER I had been home all day waiting that they weren’t coming. It stinks that this is a service we pay for that we have to chase the company down to receive. We didn’t want to because of how much we like Lee Company’s techs, but we switched to a competitor because they answered their phones and are coming out next day.

01/20/20 Lee company had previously installed a HVAC system for our upstairs and was here for a followup electrical inspection which we had paid to the company. Our water heater was leaking and he advised Lee Company could replace it and gave my wife a verbal quote, which was high but they had done a good job on the HVAC system. They arrived promptly and did the worst job I have ever seen in replacing the water heater. I've replaced a couple of water heaters and would have done this one but was attending a funeral out of state. The electrical was left exposed and used the old cover off of the old heater. The overflow drain was left open to drain on the concrete floor next to the wood flooring in the living room. The expansion tank exceeded past the opening of the closet making it useless. The drain valve was over the plastic floor pan. The cutoff valves were put in backwards and for $1,795 they used pex tubing which works but will end up leaking in a few years. Also, the 50 gallon tank which was used to replace our 80 gallon tank was installed past the line on the closet. I understand why they are so prompt so a better company with reasonable rates wont have the time to respond. I called the company the day I got back it's been 3 days and no one from the company has returned my call. UPDATE 01/29/2020. Lee Company just left, they moved the water heater back about 4 inches to allow the door panel to close. They connected the drain line (which had been open to drain on the floor) to the drain pan, and reconnected the power line after removing the old plastic cover. They explained the PEX connection are industry standards and usually better than the copper. The drain bib for annual inspection is over the drain pan for easier access. They made it right! Changed my rating to a 3 for the delay and initial work.
