I have used Leak Seekers 3 times now for plumbing repairs to my house. Each time they have been helpful, professional, and timely. They were quickly able to install an upgraded water heater when my old one died, and were straight forward and easy to work with every time. They were also respectful of my time and my wife’s time, and left all work sites clean and in great working order. We plan to keep using Leak Seekers, and would recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber.

We had a great experience using this company. They were so responsive. I called Kaylee multiple times throughout the day and she was also available through text. She was so friendly and informative. They came out the very next day from my initial call. Our plumbing professional showed up on time and within the time frame given. He was able to install two toilets with ease and within 3 hours time. That even included me running back to Lowe’s to get a toilet to replace one that had a crack (which he diligently noticed)! They quoted reasonable prices and gave honest opinions. I would definitely recommend and will be returning with more renovation projects!

Selling my home and the home inspector found multiple leaks under the house as well as the hot water heater valve that needed to be vented to the outside. I called my home warranty and they sent Leak Seekers. They gave me an invoice stating they found and repaired the leaks. They said the water heater issue isn’t covered and asked me to send a picture of the water heater. I did and they said they can repair it for $100. They came out and piped it to the outside and AFTER the repair told me the wrong water heater was installed. I asked the technician if it’s a safety hazard and he said no. Then when I got a text message from the office stating this is a safety hazard. After exchanging several text messages, I thought it would be easier to call. The office girl picked up the phone, not even saying hello but immediately arguing her point. I ended up going with another plumber I use who is not with the warranty company to install the correct hot water heater. Then, the day before my house closing, the buyers agent and inspector came out to check the work, the inspectors report states, multiple leaks noted in pipes under house, no evidence of repair. I called and told them and was asked to send pictures “because my guy didn’t just lay down under there.” At this point, the buyers do not trust this company and will not accept them coming back out. So, I am now out $200 and they did not repair anything. RESPONSE to Leak Seekers Reply. Assuming Wayne is the technician who came out for the water heater, that is not accurate that he said it’s a safety issue. I specifically asked him that and he said no it’s not. He went to his truck and then came back and said I was told I need to note it on the invoice that it’s the wrong heater. It wasn’t until I received messages from the office stating it was a safety issue. As far as the leaks, also not accurate. As I told AHS and the technician who came out, there are multiple leaks. He said “I found it, took the insulation off and the water was up under there.”

Kimberly; I hope you are well. We replaced about a foot of pipe under the crawl space on the hot side and replaced a washer on the tub drain. You showed Chris a picture from the inspector and that is what he fixed. From what I understand we were only told about 1 leak and American Home Shield does not let us crawl through the entire crawl space and look for leaks. As to the heater that was improperly installed, you asked that we pipe the heater out per the inspector's recommendations. You asked for a quote and I asked you to send me a picture to see if the hole was already drilled to the outside. When you sent me the picture, you just sent me a picture of the pipe disconnected, and not the heater itself. I could not tell from the picture that it was the incorrect heater installed and did not ask to see it because I just assumed it was correct. Wayne did tell you it was a safety issue as it was vented improperly and he even told you we would have to note it on the receipt so there was no liability issues on our end. We told you to call the plumber who installed it, less than 2 years ago, and have him replace it with the correct unit because he is the one who installed it incorrectly and you should not pay someone else to put the right heater in when he should have done it correctly to begin with. I believe you used this plumber outside of the warranty the last time and that was the issue. As for the leaks, we asked for pictures of the pipe from the second inspector as the picture you showed us to begin with from the first inspector only referenced one leak. Response to updated review. I am sorry if you misunderstood Wayne but his intentions where to express to you that it was a safety issue as the heater was vented improperly which is why we had to note it on the invoice for the future buyers. It is dangerous and the previous plumber should have not installed a regular heater in a direct vent hook up. As for Chris, he fixed a leak under the kitchen and would be glad to go out and show you where that section of pipe was replaced. Ahs doesn't allow us to repipe your entire crawl space so of course we are limited on what we can do when we are dispatched out. If there is anything else we can help you with please let us know. I am very sorry we had to note the heater issue on the invoice, which I know you were upset about, but could not be liable for a heater we did not install later down the road.
