Regardless of the price, which is radical to say the least, they seem to carry everything a self respecting hardware store should. Home repair/improvement supplies, lumber yard, marine and outdoor with kickers snowmachine and some generators and more. Staff is knowledgeable of store layout and can usually help you find anything you ask for.

Great place to get the supplies and parts you need for living in the city or going out into nature. They have Craftsman tools, which is important because of the kind of warranty that Craftsman has. L & M carries Honda outdoor equipment and powersports, and carries the parts to help keep them working. They also carry Polaris snowmobiles and other equipment and supplies. L & M is also a Husqvarna Dealer, and carries the supplies you need to keep those products in working order. A good hardware store does much to keep things in a community working well. Out in the rural Alaska areas, people usually must try to fix things themselves first. L & M helps people take care of so much that people must do themselves.
