Had a rep come out on 1/3 to evaluate a problem with our septic aerator not running. He performed some basic diagnostics and identified a couple of issues. He did not fix anything at that time, but committed to sending us quotes for the repairs via email. We paid for that service call and waited for the email follow up. A couple of days later I called their office to check on the quotes, as I had not yet received anything. They shared that they were going to send them out soon and I shouldn't have expected them until a few days after the visit. They also said I should have seen some of the amounts written on my invoice at the time of the visit. I explained that I was not given an invoice. The person on the phone said she would send me that via email as well. Its 1/21 and I have never heard from them again. In the meantime I went online and bought a replacement aerator and installed it myself. 2 stars since the rep that came out the first day was nice and diagnosed the issue, but basically they never followed through after that.

Tom, I'm really sorry to hear you were disappointed. We have had multiple employees out with Covid for the past couple weeks so we have been doing our best to keep up with a limited workforce. I pulled up your invoice from 1/3 and there are quotes for all the work he discussed with you and the invoice shows it was sent to your email. There appears to be some sort of miscommunication somewhere. We will call you on Monday to follow up on this and sort things out. Thanks for bringing this to our attention; we will be sure to make it right.

This is my second time to call King Septic after the grinder pump stopped working and sewage began backing up in the house. Grinder pumps were new to me when I bought this house 2 1/2 years ago. I learned a lot from Jason when he came last summer as he explained each step he was taking and why. King is not available on Saturdays which is when it started backing up so I called another company that had weekend service. I knew by the time that service man left my house on Saturday that I would wait to make my decision until I had a chance to talk with King on Monday morning. King called me back first thing Monday morning. Within 3 hours of that call my problem was fixed and I was back to using toilets and running water down the drain. The weekend emergency company did little inspection before telling me that my cost on Monday would be around $6,000. That is pretty scary to hear as a single woman in her senior years. Jason at King did another amazing job, instructing me along the way so that I now understand more about grinder pump sewer systems. I learned my lesson. I will never call another service.

Our sewer was backing up into our basement. My husband tried to snake the drain and didn’t find any clogs. It was still backing up and we didn’t know what to do. Several people referred us to King. So I called at 8 AM and they were done by 1 PM the same day. The woman I spoke to on the phone, Amanda, was very helpful and understanding. The technician, Devin, was great and kept me informed. Luckily it was an easy fix. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely refer them to anyone who needs any septic services.
