The individual who came out to fix my sink was not only a nice person but also extremely knowledgeable. If needed, I will be going back to this business again.

Had some slight communication errors but Kastl did a fantastic job overall. Mike identified my plumbing issue and did a quality job replumbing 30' of pipe quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price. I would recommend Kastl plumbing and use them again should the need arise. I also had some billing issues resolved immediately and professionally. A+ job in my book.

NOTE: THIS PREVIOUS POSITIVE POSTING IS REVISED BELOW. THE RATING WENT FROM FIVE STARS TO ONE STAR: Terry was fantastic!!! He came to our house late in the day on very short notice and knew immediately how to fix our problem. He also helped with another less urgent issue and set us up to have it fixed with the right parts the next morning. He was incredibly nice, efficient, helpful, and very professional. We have had some very bad experiences with other plumbing companies in town. We will definitely use Kastl Plumbing from now on! Thank you! ****************************************************** REVISED REVIEW: I wrote the above review just after the two plumbers finished the work. The two men themselves were the nicest plumbers I have met in Lawrence. HOWEVER, just over 30 days after our new sink was installed, we had contract on our home for sale and an inspection was done. The inspector found that our new sink (for which Kastl provided all the hardware) had been leaking the whole time. The sink wood cabinet was destroyed and there is major water damage and likely mold in the basement ceiling. The buyers back out of the contract because of this issue. We may now lose our contract on the house we planned to move into. This is very serious for my family. When we called Kastl, the nice plumber who installed the sink came back early the next morning. It turns out that the Delta faucet that they provided was defective and had likely been leaking since installation! Why this was not discovered during installation is not known. Kastl called Delta and apparently Delta has a warranty that will cover this issue at least in part. So what's the problem? As of right now, Kastl Plumbing is saying that we need to use OUR homeowners insurance to repair and then Delta will settle with OUR homeowners insurance. Somehow magically Kastl Plumbing is out of the picture!!!!! Why do they have insurance if not to use it for this type of situation!!!! Kastl is now not returning our phone calls or emails. This type of professional behavior is unacceptable, especially in a town the size of Lawrence. I will revise this again if Kastl works with us appropriately, but as of now, I have little hope.
Response from the owner
We have tried contacting you about this matter through email, but we would like to resolve any additional issues that are getting misunderstood. As soon as you emailed saying the faucet had been leaking, we had a tech out and contacted our Delta rep immediately to see how they go about this type of situation (since Kastl does not manufacture faucets, we have to get the warranty through the manufacturer). They advised us on the procedures of the warranty process-that Delta needs to investigate the faucet to see what went wrong and, in the meantime, they recommend that the homeowner contact their insurance to get the restoration process going. Delta will then reimburse the homeowner. We kept in communication with you about what we were told and what the process was. We returned phone calls and emails. As explained, we do not check our Facebook every day, so the Facebook messages you sent we didn't reply to immediately; instead we called you as soon as we saw them. We, again, are very sorry if this issue caused you to lose a contract, it was not our intention for this mishap to occur, nor for you to have to deal with all of this while trying to sell your home.
