  I have used Karls in the past with good results. So when I saw them down the road servicing a neighbors issue, I asked when they were done to stop in to look at a whole house water filter that needed to be replaced. The mechanic was in my house less than 5 minutes and agreed it needed to be replace. I was in no rush and he came back within 2 weeks. What I was really surprised with, they charged me a trip charge and a full hours worth of work for being in my house 5 minutes! I guess I would have been much better off telling them I needed it replaced on the phone, rather than having them spend 5 minutes to charge me $88. I called Karl's to discuss with them, which I needed to follow up on my own, and never was resolved to my satisfaction. I simply paid the bill at the full amount. The offered to take off the $14 trip charge fwiw, but charged the full amount of labor for a 5 minute look at what I already informed them on. Update 2/10/20 - Karl's did reach out to me again, not sure if was because of the review here, or it finally sunk in on what I consider a bogus charge, but it is resolved to my satisfaction.

  We were assigned Karl's by our home warranty, when our water heater wasn't working. They called promptly to get info on our specific model, & arrived at our home in less than one hour. Within less than an hour from arriving, it was fixed! The technician was informative & friendly. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

  The man was rude and didn't seem like he knew what he's was doing and was confused about my furnace. Then said I could continue to run my furnace and just suggested I get a new one. I asked him for a round about ballpark figure and he said he wasn't sure. Ummm u do work with furnaces rite 🤔 I called somewhere else for a second opinion and they figured out the problem and if I would continue to run my furnace my it would have started a fire that day. If I would have listened to your employee my house would have burned down and then I'd be wit out a furnace and a home. Very disappointing experience.
