  Update: After writing this review, I was contacted by Paul at John L's Plumbing. He confirmed that the charge was incorrect and has adjusted the price of the service call. I believe him when he says it was a mistake. I have changed my review from one star to four stars. I used John L's Plumbing around five years ago, and they did a great job at a reasonable price. Yesterday I called them with an emergency request to clear my kitchen drain prior to the weekend. I asked and confirmed that the price would be $175 inclusive, so long as the service took less than one hour. I asked twice, verified that there was no additional travel time charge, etc. The plumber showed up at 4:30 PM and finished a little after 5:00 PM (when the overtime rate kicks in). He then charged me $218.50 for the 1/2 hour of work. I feel I was lied to, and that they manipulated the service call to maximize their profit. The invoice Number for this service is #4281.

  Mr. Gauslin I apologize for the bad experience. I review all invoices the following business day when my men turn in invoices from the prior work day. I will find out what went wrong and make this right for you. All my trucks are GPS tracked. Your invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
