  As a customer, without hesitation, I would highly recommend JMC Home Improvement. We have had them complete three major projects over the years. The first was a complete redo of our kitchen, that also included adding foundation work to expand an eat-in section, the second entailed updating three bathrooms (including a master bath), and most recently they remodeled a game room and installed a half-vault with four skylights and remodeled the master bedroom, also incorporating a vaulted ceiling and three skylights. There are several key reasons why I recommend the company. First, when we started the initial project, we had very young children home. Having these specialists working and in the house, I did not have any concern for my family's safety and well being. These were top-notch workers, they always called when arriving and would always clean-up before leaving. Second, the service was outstanding. Working with the owner, sharing ideas, each project was enhanced from our initial thoughts. And too, the workers also shared from their experiences, which, on a number of occasions also enhanced the outcome. Third, they show up, without exception, never an issue. Fourth, courtesy, from the owner to each worker, design specialist, office assistant, whomever we encountered, everyone was always courteous, respectful and helpful. And finally, the workmanship is excellent. The trim work in the master bedroom and bathroom is fabulous and the barnboard used in the game room, stained in a grey tint is outrageous. And, they stand behind their work. If we were to need any further work, yes, JMC would be my first call.

  When we decided to have our two-room master bathroom renovated (a complete gut job), we had a concept for the bathroom, but we needed help with the design and the layout. After interviewing several companies, we decided to go with John and his JMC team. They had the necessary knowledge and experience, and we thought that we could work with them. It was a great decision and a great partnership from the start. We didn’t require help selecting the majority of the materials, but we did need help with the 1001 design related details which move a concept from good to fabulous. Some of the design issues were expanding the tunnel skylight ceiling into a cathedral ceiling, moving a wall, installing a transom, and moving the majority of the plumbing to different locations. We worked with the design team to finalize the plan that included everything we wanted and what they recommended. The design team provided many extremely innovative suggestions such as an interesting glass shower enclosure shape, extending the shower seat outside of the shower, etc. The countless detailed CAD drawings were invaluable in helping with our decisions. JMC did a great job of sealing off rooms and providing zipper doors. When the renovation was completed, there was minimal dust or dirt. There were some plumbing considerations since so much was being relocated. Because the JMC plumber solved all the issues, he was able to install everything exactly the way it was designed. The project lead worked closely with us to provide options, answered endless questions, and thought through any unexpected issues to resolve them to our complete satisfaction. The project lead’s craftsmanship and tile work were excellent. We appreciated the entire team listening to us and voicing their opinions which helped with our decision process. There was good communication throughout the timeframe, as well as first-rate project management and scheduling of all the people. The final design and workmanship were exceptional. They are professionals with extensive knowledge in their respective area, and they take pride in all aspects of the job. JMC will provide you with the appropriate amount of help and direction. Our bathroom is stunning, and we are thrilled with the result. The bottom line is if you want quality work done by a reputable company, then go with John and his JMC team. They have a deep commitment to customer satisfaction.

  Utilized JMC Home Improvement for a gut kitchen renovation and layout change. Had a communication hiccup that was easily remedied. JMC and their crew are professional, stand by the quality of the work, and are easy to work with. I recommend them based on my experience and am looking to work with them on a smaller renovation soon
