  If you're looking for a pleasant, knowledgeable, and fair plumber, Jim is definitely your guy! When our basement flooded with dirty water, Jim was over within an hour to save us! I was panicking over what could possibly have caused the leak (aka waterfall coming from a pipe), but Jim figured it out the cause within minutes. He was able to identify that the clog was most likely caused by rocks thrown down our vent pipe (we'd notice that the mushroom-like cap had kept coming off the past few weeks, but figured the neighborhood kids just knocked them off or something...we didn't expect them to be throwing rocks down there). But Jim figured it out quickly! With adaptability, ingenuity, and tenacity that you just don't see these days, he actually was able to figure out a way to get the rocks out so we didn't have to them dug out (I was so scared that it would come to that!)! It was long tedious work to get all the rocks, but he didn't give up and I really, really, REALLY appreciate it! The best part of it all was that it was also so very, very reasonably priced. I will definitely be calling Jim for all our plumbing needs in the future! Jim knows his stuff, works hard, and offers fair prices. He is literally everything I look for in a business and I am so, so, so happy that I found him!!

  Mr. O'Brien was contacted by my GC a few weeks back for a full basement job to include a bathroom install from scratch. His shop is 1 mile from my front door. On a weeks notice he came over and did a walk through, met with me and the GC and went on his way saying he would provide a proposal for the total job within the next few days. He seemed happy, knowledgeable and I was looking forward to hearing from him. I try to keep work in my back yard and give the work to the "little guys" who could use the income instead of paying the super large firms. I am now on day 8 of waiting to hear back from him, the GC has called his wife who I assume runs his office twice, both times there was no call back as promised. Today I called and spoke to Mrs. O'Brien and informed her of the wait / delay and she almost seemed to care less stating that he "is very busy" which I understand. What I don't understand is a total avoidance of the request for work and proposal and the lack of concern to return phone calls. I try to be a nice guy and help the little guys out, I try and help my neighbors and the people in my area which we all should do and this is the response I get? If you aren't interested in the job tell people, if you don't have the time tell people, but don't just simply get invited into someone's home and then leave them hanging.

  Call Jim!!! Fair, honest, ethical, professional work and on-time...things that are not found as often these days, but Jim delivers. Jim came highly recommended to us by my parents. He has been a great plumber for them over the years. Jim has now done several jobs for us. Most recently, Jim got our water up and running again this week after our old well pump stopped working. As always, Jim was prompt, fair, honest and the work was clean and professional. Do yourself a favor and call Jim. You will be glad you did!
