We've called Jim Moscone Plumbing several times over the past 6 months for small issues in our home. When they've done the work, the plumbers themselves were professional and the prices seemed fair. The issue is that in that time I have called them 4 times to do work. Out of those four, they have no-showed on me twice and most recently without as much as a phone call to let me know they weren't going to come. This most recent time was for a pipe that was intermittently freeing. When I called to let them know the response was "you should call an electrician". Well, Andy, that would have been great to know when I called you to make the appointment that I took off time work for. If you need work done in an emergency that's fairly priced, I'm sure you'll be fine. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I've been feeling the trait of old school professionalism and customer service no longer existed in All professions. Thank you Jim Moscone plumbing!!! Not having heat on the coldest day you came through for us. Following up in the AM to confirm if we were okay and if we needed your services knowing we canceled our request last night. Thank you, Thank you!!!!

Jim saved me last night! My radiator started spraying water at about 12:30am. I called about 5 different “24 hour” plumbers near me, none of whom picked up the phone. Fortunately Jim did. He was further away, but said he would come out if I needed him to. But first he told me to try an old school trick of sticking a pencil in the part of the radiator that was spewing out water, allowing the wood to expand and stop the leakage. I didn’t have a pencil, but used an old flower stem that I had, and it did the job. Saved my night and my apt, and allowed me to sleep until I could contact building management in the morning. I’m definitely glad he picked up the phone.
