  You get what you pay for. The quote was significantly lower than others for a whole house repipe with pex and a new water heater. But...it was impossible to get him to show up to do the work. When he did show he'd be there for 1-2 hours then leave. He didn't hook up the new hot water tank so he could not leak check the hot water piping while the walls were open. 3 days after the sheetrock was done he came back and connected the HW heater. At 2am I woke up to a leak coming from the shower valve where they connected the new pex. I've been trying to get him to come back and move the HW heater as he committed to do. Been calling since mid-Dec and still not done. Lots of excuses, then tells me he'll be there but doesn't show. I finally gave up and have scheduled another plumber to come finish up. It's going to cost me $350 out of pocket more but I'm tired of chasing him and then waiting all day for a no show.
