Benton and Brandon did a wonderful job installing my new water heater. I had a bit of a complicated case where they had built a closet around the water heater with no room to get it out. We were able to find a side panel to remove. They arrived on time. They were efficient and put back everything and cleaned up everything. The two B's were sweethearts and if I can get those guys again I definitely use you guys again. Thanks you guys.

I had a disappointing experience with Jack Ward recently. I have used Jack Ward for several years. I have been pleased with their service and I believe have been a good customer. This was surprising. I dislike leaving reviews like this (if you look at my profile, you will see that I very seldom do this). However, I wish to make people aware. 1) I was recently charged two hours of plumbing time (at $125 per hour) for the plumber to travel / obtain a part for a repair.I am told the plumber had to go to two places. I feel that there should not have been more than one stop -- he should have called first to make sure that the store had the part, as there was significant travel time involved. I called this morning to let the company know that I was displeased, and they explained that the plumber actually spent 2 hours 40 minutes retrieving the part -- but that I was only charged two hours. They also removed the $45 service fee based on my concerns. I still think that I am being overcharged, however. 2) The issue is not fixed. As context -- the repair was to our tankless heater. After 1-2 minutes of hot water, it only generates lukewarm water. Before the plumber left, we tested whether the issue was resolved. The hot water was still running lukewarm after the repair, which I pointed out to him. He assured me that the system just need more time and that he felt confident that with additional time, the system would generate consistent hot water. It has been several days now, and the issue persists. I considered pointing out the recurring issue to Jack Ward this morning when I called to discuss my invoice, but I opted not to do so as I am concerned about the costs that could be generated from another trip out. While Jack Ward was the company that installed my tankless system about three years ago and has serviced it annually, I unfortunately no longer trust them to service this system or handle my other plumbing needs going forward due to their billing practices.

Very displeased with the way this company operates. I was a first time customer who was having some leaking behind my sink. The servicer came out and I explained that we had a leak in the faucet hose extension, but it did not appear to be causing the overall leak. He assured me that was the main issue and was on his way. I was charged $170 for a 10 minute appointment in which no labor was truly done. After following up with the company, they advised this is their standard starting fee, regardless of how long they are there/if any true labor is completed. This information was not shared with me up front and when confronted, they refused to work with me to reduce the cost. Overall, very nice people, but it’s a ridiculous initial fee if you are getting something simple looked at.
