  This company apparently isn't open on the weekend which is very odd for plumbers and not useful when your hot water heater breaks on a Sunday. Our home warranty company told us we needed to use this plumber and they were very hard to get in touch with. We finally got someone to the house and he took pictures and submitted them to the home warranty company and then said they would keep us posted. We never heard back. My husband has called them multiple times and left messages and they did not get back in touch. The home warranty company was able to reach Honest Plumbing who communicated they are unable to do the job...would have been nice if they had told anyone so we could start working with another company, especially we have an infant and no hot water when its 30 degrees outside. I would never pick this company of my own choosing.

  If John is your technician you are in good hands. I don’t normally leave reviews but I have decided to start because it’s one way I can help someone from being taken advantage of. Pro So far the replacement waste line is working (6 months) Cons PRICE~ Always shop around if you can and get multiple quotes. Renovation debris and tree branches invaded the old 1930 terracotta waste pipes leaving my home. As a result waste water started backing up in my kitchen and basement causing flooding. Immediate action was required. I called honest because they fixed bathroom fixtures for me in the past. I was quoted one price but once the the work was started. I was charged an extra $500 because they did not properly locate the water line which was under concrete. The charged me to destroy concrete but not repair. Left me with a mess. I paid $6,500 for a 3hr job tops. I can guarantee materials used were no more than $1000 (equipment rental $300 I saw the receipt and pvc pipe 10ft $50) and that’s being generous. When repairing a waste line leading to a main sewer inquire about a 2 way valve a little extra work but can save you if the city sewer has issues. It wasn’t offered but for what I paid it should have been included. I called to verify my 6 year warranty. The owner couldn’t believe someone told me that. Do your research.

  John (Tech #101), called prior to arriving and arrived on time as promised. He was pleasant and very personable. John was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He thoroughly analyzed the problem and explained everything to me in layman's terms. I was traumatized by pass experiences with various plumbing companies but happy to say that John restored my confidence. I highly recommend Honest Plumbing. They are definitely a 5 star company.
