      I recently moved into a home that needed plumbing work requiring a few tiles in a shower to be replaced. I made an appointment and ended up getting in sooner than expected and the work done was fantastic, I am very pleased with the end result. The workers were pleasant and easy to work with. I did feel a little blind sighted as I was told initially that one guy, the “tile expert,” would come out for $90 an hour and two guys came, so I ended up paying $90 an hour for both of them. I would not think that a repair this size would cost close to $600 for labor and parts but I am happy that it’s done and was done very well.

      Danielle thanks for the kind words. As you know your project was somewhat of a moving target. Santos is an excellent craftsman and needed decision making support. We had a project manager involved to insure your project went according to acceptable and reasonable timelines. In the end you paid less than the outside or upper end of 6 man hours. The avg quoted was 3-6hrs and the project was completed in record time including a second man that shorted the overall time spance. You can trust HomePro resolves issues at a reasonable rate.       Do not invite these people into your home. Chris verbally contracted to remodel our shower. We contracted a bench, shelves, and door to be hung. When the time came for the work, he then stated he had not said he would do this work. There was no written contract. Chris said no need for a written contract. He wanted to charge an additional 600 dollars to hang the new shower door. This would have been additional cost to the 5500 dollars charged. We now have a shower with tile, drain pipe and shower head, No door, no bench, no shelves. I had left my Judith Ripka chocolate brown watch out where the shower handle was located, IT IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. IT IS GONE!!! I have searched EVERYWHERE, my favorite watch I have NEVER misplaced. Louis and his female help put up the tile and the shower head. They left a huge mess. Santos BROKE the old shower door , they had taken down , they left this shattered glass in our street and yard. My daughter had to get out there and sweep up the glass. Santos had placed a bag of broken tile on the door left in bulk trash, this shattered it everywhere. No one bothered to clean the broken glass up. DO NOT HIRE THESE people. Andrea Roland

      Mrs Roland, I find it completely inappropriate to post your grievance online when you haven't made any attempt to contact me to resolve your differences your husband completely misunderstood every single thing you pointed out. I contacted you yesterday to engage in a an acceptable resolution and instead of working it out with the 2 parties involved you complain on Google instead? Doesn't sound like you're interested in any acceptable or reasonable resolution or listening to why your husband misunderstood about extra options and expenses he never discussed or include when that price was quoted. He seems to think he can negotiate a final price and then begin adding additional costs or anything extra at will and should be included. Sorry it doesn't work like that at all. Expect collections to begin immediately, since you had rather not resolve the situation with your contractor, therefore we will place it with a county judge to decide as we do have an ironclad agreement your husband agreed to. Read my first text message to him digitally agreed to since youre completely unaware. And did I mention the two bounced checks? Good luck & God Bless

      I never list reviews like this but I felt it important to let people know what they may be getting with this business. We called home pro for minor repairs (hanging curtains, reattached drawer handles) They sent someone out and the person arrived when I was home at 11:30am (proof on my ring). While I was away my nanny wrote a check after the worker finished for the final cost she was told, which was $550. But shortly after I arrived back home I found that 3 of 6 things I asked for them to do were not done at all. They also replaced handles I specifically asked not to be replaced, and one of the drawer handles they did replace had already fallen off. After finding this, I called to ask why such simple repairs were charged at that rate of $550 and to let them know things were already broken and that they had replaced things I asked them to leave alone. I was told that the worker arrived at 9am (false) and we were charged for that time. I was advised to speak with Chris. After leaving messages I got a hold of Chris 1 week later. I asked for a partial refund because the worker was in fact, not at my home at 9am, things were not done that we had asked, and some of what was done, we had not asked them to do. I was calm in laying out what happened to Chris because I was hoping for a simple solution but was EXTREMELY surprised at how combative Christ was. He was interruptive, loud, agitated and refused to acknowledge that his worker did not arrive at the time they claimed to have arrived. He wouldn't let me finish a sentence after I explained the problem and was very abrasive and argumentative. He offered to finish the job, but I was so disrespected and offended during the call I declined to continue doing business. I'm unsure if Chris is the owner, but as a business owner myself, this owner was unprofessional, surprisingly argumentative and unwilling to listen to the customer. I felt degraded as a woman and after reading a few other reviews, I wish I had not done business with this company at all because this seams to be a recurring experience.

      Update, Mrs Farris filed a BBB complaint and HomePro responded to the complaint and HomePro won:)) HomePro Contracting A+ rating.... Mrs Farris, your records are completely different then ours. We have a geo tracker app that all our techs use to clock in and out for exactly these same reasons. Sorry your records are different. We clearly offered for us to come back if your weren't satisfied with anything reasonable, although you rejected the offer and began making demands. The combative part is when you rejected our offer and i explained our app and 2 staff members have us at your home at our scheduled appointment time and confirms we had arrived on time and we checked out at the home center at 10:03 Bottom line is you paid by check for the services you were charged without question, but later decided to demand a reduction for what ever reasons. Again the offer stands if you have any legit repairs your not satisfied with our policy is we gladly will arrange to resolve any reasonable legit issues. But you rejected the offer. Good luck!
