  Big Powder Horn Mountain is Amazing !!! Great Skiing , Snowboarding and plenty of Scenery , The Staff is very Polite and Curtious . If I could give 10 Stars I would , also can't wait for the New Years Eve party . Lost of fun .

  Had an absolutely hideously frustrating experience with the flooring department in this store in Rhinelander, and will never shop there again. We had special ordered hardwood flooring, called repeatedly to find out if it was in yet when it went well past its anticipated delivery date and we hadn't heard from the store, and kept getting told no, it's not in. We needed it for our vacation home in the UP and had a fairly narrow window for getting it installed. Finally, in frustration, did go to the store and discovered it had been sitting there for over a week! Apparently the dude in the Flooring Dept was too lazy to bother looking on the computer to see what the status of the order was -- he'd say, let me check on that for you, put us on hold for a few seconds, and come back on to say, Nope, not here yet, all while sounding like he was being martyred when asked to actually do his job. When we gave up waiting and went to the store to find out just why it was taking so long to come in, we discovered that not only was the flooring in (and had been for 9 days), the two pallets it was on were sitting within line of sight of the flooring department phone -- if the dude who answered the phone had bothered looking up instead of just twiddling his thumbs, he'd have seen it. Although the store never did call to say it was in, Home Depot's credit department did leave a message on our home answering machine expressing concern that our Home Depot card had been used for a substantial purchase in a state other than the one where the cardholder lives. We were really psyched when Home Depot opened in Rhinelander because we'd always had good experiences in stores elsewhere, so this episode (lousy service, rude employees) was a major disappointment. My advice? Go to Menard's instead. They at least generally seem to know what they're doing.
