Service technician, Ben, did an excellent job replacing two sink fixtures and repairing an outside faucet. Prompt, professional, courteous , and cleaned up afterwards. New in the area and Hirt and Elliot will be my go-to company for plumbing and electrical. I highly recommend them.
Response from the owner

I'm sure this review won't get posted, but I will try anyway. This is absolutely the worst company I have ever used in my entire life. A total disaster, from top to bottom, as far as service, professionalism, and accountability. I called them on Cristmas Eve to install a well pump, and they said they would call me on December 28 to schedule. They sent a plumber out on that same day, and the train wreck started. Not only could he not install the pump, I had to assist him the entire time he was there. He used several of my tools, had no business being there by himself, and after a few hours, said he would be back the following day. When I helped him pull up the old pump, we found that the lift pipe had become disconnected from the pipe. He advised me to go ahead and replace the pump, since we had already pulled it out, so I grudgingly agreed. The next day, he showed up with two other plumbers, and installed the new pump in a couple of hours. He also had informed me the day before, that I needed a new cistern tank. They took out the old tank, and he said he could not solder the new pipe in for it. He said he would call and let me know when he would be back. The next time I heard from the company was on January 13, with a bill in the mail stating the job was completed. I called Scott Lamping and after him stating that he told me they would get everything repaired and how his company was in business for 50 years etc., etc. I informed him that nobody ever came back and repiped the tank. I also told him that I have no idea how his company had been around that long. They sent another plumber out on January 25, and he soldered in the new tank. A full month after originally contacting them, the job was finally complete. After witnessing this fiasco, I would be extremely hesitant to have them do any kind of electrical or heating and air service. I would be extremely worried for the safety of my family. The only reason they got one star is that you can't post a review with negative stars.
