Good Service. Very clear from the beginning. Told me what may be wrong with the hot water heater and then the plan to repair. All cost were upfront and i felt like there were no surprises. Will use again the next time i need a plumber.

    Response from the owner

Mr Escher, it was our pleasure to provide you with expert plumbing repair services. Your decision to place your trust in us to remove and replace the existing failed thermal expansion tank along with the affected temperature & pressure relief valve will extend the life expectancy of your electric tank-type water heater and therefore save you money. We greatly appreciate your business.

Do not use this company and check their Yelp reviews for a more accurate rating of them. This company was sent to us by Rheem because we have labor insurance. We had been without a water heater for several days by the time of the scheduled service call. Firstly, the guy, George was super rude. That much attitude doesn’t belong stuffed into any one person. He was just supposed to come out and swap our broken water heater for a new one. We just wanted the same one that we had. He said we had to replace one pipe to be in code but also advised a bunch of other upgrades he wanted us to pay for. We said we didn’t want any upgrades and were only willing to replace the one part that would bring the installation up to code. At this point he refused to perform our service. It was a total waste of our time and he was completely unprofessional and beyond rude from the second he stepped into our home. We had to call Rheem again and have them reach out to a different plumbing company and we have to start this whole thing all over again. Again, I would recommend checking their Yelp reviews because those seem to be more accurate than their google reviews, 4.5 is surprising and clearly undeserved.

    Response from the owner

Assley, just like we offered your husband Eric, would you like some cheese to go with your whine? When we arrived at 8447 Alister Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens today we found that your residential electric water heater was illegally installed without the required plumbing permit and is improperly installed. This installation does not meet local plumbing code. In fact, no manufacturing defects were found, but rather the lower element gasket seal is blown-out and leaking which is a direct result of your installation defects, thereby preventing you from being eligible for a replacement under warranty. Yet in good faith our technician attempted to discuss with you on-site the costs associated with bringing this installation up to local plumbing code, including the required plumbing permit fee at which time you refused to accept our proposal. Your comments about us not being willing to do the job up to local plumbing code do not make any sense and are more suitable for your installing contractor. You should have directed your anger and all of your rude comments toward your installing contractor and not us! To be clear, your dysfunctional and out-of-service heat recovery system still attached to the top and bottom of this electric water heater must now be removed and properly abandoned. Even though I understand you have an existing thermal expansion relief device at your building's main shut-off valve which satisfies the local plumbing code, it is located more than 50 linear feet away and is not satisfactory for this extremely rapid recovery electric water heater. Just like many others, we understand your ignorance of the facts in this case and will not hold it against you. You take care of yourself too.
