  Steve hampel is a mensch. He's saved my bacon at least twice when I've lost control of my toilet at my house. I wasn't adequately equipped to solve my problem. He fixed my issue quick and easy (he DID have the proper equipment). He does his work at a fair rate too. The missing 5th star is only because the company as a whole doesn't necessarily return calls very quickly (ymmv). Hampel needs to work on that. With the work and prices though, they are second to none. Steve and his brother (Bill I think) are both very friendly and typically very prompt and punctual. If they aren't, they'll call and they'll have a good reason for lateness. We like Hampel Plumbing at my house.

  Our hot water heater died recently. I called Steve with Hampel the next morning and he said he'd be by around 11 AM. He arrived 15 minutes EARLY, diagnosed the problem, and quoted us a very reasonable price to remove the old heater and install a new one. But get this: He also convinced our home warranty company to cover the cost. I didn't even think that was possible! He was friendly, honest, prompt, and up-front about everything. This is why you go with local businesses instead of the big ones. I cannot recommend Hampel Plumbing enough.

  These guys are great! Very reasonable price. Showed up when they said they would. Did a very good job with both exterior and interior plumbing. I will definitely hire them again when I need plumbing work.
