We have about 30 rental properties in Cape Girardeau and used Hacker a number of times, 5 out of 6 times they either did the repair incorrectly, invoiced us incorrectly, or caused further damage on the property.  6 times was too many attempts to get it right, and we won't be using them again.

I wanted to say thank you to the staff of this company, especially Phyllis and Paul.  Those members are knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and reliable.  This company provided great service for my office building multiple times.  Words alone cannot describe enough of how grateful I am with these guys.  Thank you again.

Alan was knowledgeable  and did great work especially on our 1940's home but I hate the new faucets we got and didn't get a choice on them   , also the knobs don't line up when off so that kills my OCD lol

They did not return my intial after hours emergency phone call. I had to call back.  Gave the service desk representative the code on the display and what part it indicated to be the problem. The first technician did not even acknowledge the display panel with the code indicating the problem. I asked about it and he said that wasn't the problem. He had to return 2 more times that week. By Friday I had to call again after hours and had another technician check it out. He did the same as the first technician and I had to call again for him to return on Saturday. He finally determined it was what the code had been indicating all along. But now I had to wait til they could order the part on Monday. Finally they were able to fix my water heater but it took a week and a half, when it should have only taken a few days, Then came the bill with an outrageous labor fee because of all the times they had to come back. If they would have just looked at the code and checked that out intially instead of just trying one thing and having to repeatedly come back this would have been a decent experience. After I got the bill I requested to speak to someone about it. They only had one technician call me..he said he would pass the info along to the supervisor and that he would probably call me. That did not happen. I asked the office personel to have someone call. They were rude and I still never received a call. I asked again when I sent in payment and still no call. Here I am nearly a year later and still trying to pay off the bill and I still have not received a call.

First, I will say the technical skills are there and the problem was fixed.  That being said, the customer service is horrid.  After having two different people recommend this plumber I called for an estimate and their response was the same as all others before, there is a quick cheap fix and there is the right way to do it.  The right way to do it was still the lowest bid so I scheduled the work.  I called the business several times to always be told the owner was not in at the moment and so I left messages three different times to never have those messages returned.  One of the messages was to ask what time workers would show at my house and since the message was not returned this resulted in them showing up unexpectedly when no one was home and us having to abruptly leave work to let them in.  Then as the work was nearly finished we realized they were only doing the quick fix and not want I had originally requested.  Additionally, when the work was complete they just vanished from the home just left without speaking to us.  No itemized bill was received only a number which was barely under what the "correct way to do it" was quoted.  When I called to voice my concerns over my experience, I again had to leave a message since the owner was not present and again that message was not returned and those concerns never addressed.
