I had H&N install a new pressure tank for me, and after receiving a bill for $1400 for the tank alone, I did some research online and over the phone to various suppliers and found that the exact same or similar tanks were selling for $350-750. I was told by Joe that they charged another person $1100 for the same tank I received a week before I got mine, and that the price they charged me must have been a mistake. He also implied that because my problem was fixed that the price shouldn’t be as big of a concern to me, and also that they didn’t charge me for the second visit to my home which was company’s fault for incorrectly installing the tank in the first place. I shouldn’t have to pay for that. These guys are thieves and liars, and I strongly suggest utilizing literally any other plumbing service.

Dustin, we are very sorry for your frustration. On 11/23/2021 you contacted and informed us that you had purchased a pressure tank and replaced it yourself. At that time, we were not told if the old pressure tank had a hole in it or if you were just having pressure problems. After our discussion, we had decided you may have a hole in the pipe going down the well. On 11/24/2021 we sent two of our technicians and our pump truck to assess the situation. Upon arriving and doing a diagnostic, we discovered that the pressure tank that was purchased before was the wrong tank for your application. This was the reason for the pressure problems. We were able to locate the correct pressure tank and you authorized us to order and replace it for you. The tank arrived and was installed on 12/2/2021. After we installed the tank, we called and informed you that we connected the piping up as it was for the old tank and not the new tank which could cause the piping to freeze. We informed you that we would come back at no charge to pipe it correctly, which was done on 12/6/2021. We did inform you of the price of the tank before we ordered it. After you received the bill, you called and said you thought the price was too high. We checked with our supplier and found they had billed the wrong tank so we gave you a credit of $300 for the overcharge. You may have been able to get the tank cheaper, but it again could have been the wrong one like before. Which could have caused the same issue and not worked for your application like the first one you had.

I called H&N to have them come install a new shower head and repair some cracks in the shower lining along with installing a new thermostat. I could have done a better job in the bathroom and he took one look at my thermostat I wanted to install and said “I don’t think I can instal this” just a lazy company with really lazy and unqualified workers.

We paid thousands of dollars to have a new furnace and hot water heater installed by H&N. They drilled holes through our siding where it shouldn't have been and then glued the siding back on, stepped on our rain spout, and charged us for capping off our chimney which they didn't do. When they first brought in our new water heater it had a huge dent around the seal. They installed it anyway and I told them it needed to be replaced. They were not happy about it, but did replace it. Now seven years later, the water heater already rusted out and we have to get a new one because they installed it directly on the floor!!! They did the same thing with our furnace! When we had another company at our house to install a new air conditioning unit last summer, they couldn't believe the work H&N did! STAY CLEAR AND GO ELSEWHERE!!

I am sorry you had such a bad experience with H & N. That certainly isn't our intention when we are given a job to do. Unfortunately, after 7 years it is hard for me to go back to the installers and ask them what happened. I am surprised that the appliances were placed on the floor. We purchase hundreds of concrete blocks every year so this doesn't happen.
