  Called them out to fix my furnace. they slapped the cover of a new thermostat on. Leaving the old back from my other thermostat on. Then left. A few days later I had to call them back out again and the real problem was a water drainage problem. They charged me for both visits and the new thermostat (which was very expensive) which i didn't' need. Then at the beginning of this season I had to call another company out to properly fix the problem.

  Response after a phone call was impeccable. They were closed the day I called but they called back the next business day that they were open within minutes of normal business hours. Our furnace went out and they sent a tech out to inspect. He spent a hour or two and fixed it. Price was very reasonable and even installed a new thermostat that he had on hand. I will use them again!

  They are outlandish. The total bill for cleaning out our kitchen drain, not the house drain to the street, or cutting tree roots it was the kitchen drain, was $244.00. I spoke to them at about 4:10 PM they arrived before 5. We live about 8 miles from their building. They were here an hour and half. At that rate it equals 162.50 per hour. What plumber makes $162 per hour even at overtime? The answer is Gross Brothers. We called on the cost of the bill but they said it was over time. On the second day Gross called back said those were his charges and that there were environmental fees involved. I asked why the environmental fees were not listed on the bill and what environmental fees would be in place for by sink drain. He never answered and changed the subject. Other items they added to the total bill were a trip charge and the use of a machine charge he had on the truck. It seems like they added what they could and made up what they wanted. They did the work but this is more than a reasonable charge for this service. This occurred about 3 months ago 9/3/2014 Called them to repair an off brand air conditioning unit they sold us. They refused service because we had threatened to turn them over to the BBB. We did not turn them over to the BBB. They have the right to refuse business but should stand behind their products. The A/C unit is less than two years old. This was posted today because they turned down our service request.
