  We've had nothing but trouble. We live on a ridge with high iron and they said they had equipment that could handle it. We had service back in too many times to count. Each time they said "this should fix it". Finally we had to have a pump and piping redone from a well at the top of our property instead of the well by the house. Luckily that well only had ferric iron there so our sinks, tubs , dishes, TEETH and such were saved from the awful iron stains. We still have to double filter anything for drinking and cooking but we managed. NOW we are told they no longer service for our system and they have no plumbers on staff as well. We have contacted the service company suggested with no call backs and its just NOT OK. So now we either wait for someone to call us back or have a whole new company come in and provide a system that might or might not work. Not sure how this is allowed to stand but it looks like the thousands we've spent on wells, pumps and filtering systems (plural) were poorly spent. I DO NOT recommend Goodwins for anything they DO still provide. Be aware what ever they do they no longer service so be careful.

  I called just after noon on Thursday that my pump had apparently died after 30 years, the day before Christmas eve. I hoped to get an appointment early next week but got a call back in 15 minutes saying the service guy was in Bridgton and would be here in 2 hours. He finished under the truck lights around 5 with a new pump and water. I want to commend the dedication to their customers and to the continued service over 70 years after drilling this well for my father. Thank you and have a wonderful holiday season.

  All of a sudden on Labor Day weekend we had no water at 3:00 on a Saturday with a house full of people. Took a shot in the dark and called Goodwin's as we have used them to service our filtration system for years. Within an hour a super friendly and knowledgeable representative was at our house. He easily diagnosed the well pump had failed. He replaced it with a new one he had right on his service truck. We had water back by 6pm. Cannot ask for any better service than that.
