We needed our laundry drain pipe thawed and our plumber had recommended Homestead. So we set up an appointment with Homestead where I stayed home from work to be available for them to come. I didn’t received a call in the morning like I was told I would, I called twice through out the day to confirm where I was told someone would be out in the afternoon, and eventually they closed and had never sent anyone. They called the next day like they didn’t miss an appointment that I confirmed twice. Instead we had Glacier Point come out and they called in the morning as they said they would. They arrived before noon and had our pipes dethawed within an hour and a half. They were reasonably priced, quick, professional, and most of all they showed up. Despite other reviews, I recommend Glacier Point for thawing.

Furnace burner tech Steve was very thorough. He was prompt (early, actually), and he did a complete and comprehensive diagnostic of the issue with my burner unit and repaired it forthwith. He was professional and organized, and personable as well. I would recommend Glacier Point unconditionally, and intend to use them for annual burner maintenance. 5 STARS!

This business doesn’t deserve 1 star- carelessness resulted in my dog being injured & the secretary LAUGHED when we notified them. We had not scheduled a pump (early occupancy on a home we’re buying/closing on next week), so I went out to ask if the GP employee had the right address. The man was very obviously irritated by my questions. At this point he had not yet accessed my fully fenced back yard. He seemed even further annoyed by my dogs barking at him through the back door while he pumped- I believe this played a part in his leaving the gate propped open. About an hour after he left, I let my dogs out, one of which is a Great Dane pup, the other an elderly nearly-blind schnauzer. I went to let my dogs back in- maybe 3 minutes had passed. They didn’t come when I called them. I slipped my boots on & went into the back yard to see what they were up to. When I went around the side of the garage I saw that he had left the gate propped open with a bucket we’d had in the nearby lean-to. I immediately found the schnauzer as she won’t venture far due to her impairment. According to a neighbor, my young dog was nearly hit by a car before said neighbor (who had their own unfriendly dog on a leash) was able to get ahold of him. I’ve called Glacier Pointe and spoken with a woman who, at first, refused to give me her name. She asked me who I was repeatedly before she finally said her name was Jody. She literally laughed and told me that “You’d better learn to have better control over your dogs”. I was absolutely dumbfounded. My husband also tried to call and ask to speak to the manager or owner and was greeted by the same nasty, sarcastic woman who seemed to find the entire situation humorous. We will be pursuing this through every Avenue available to us!
