  Amazing museum for such a rural area! Very informational and interesting! You can walk through many old buildings and learn a lot about the area. Definitely a hidden gem!

  This is a pretty impressive museum complex for a small, rural county. The main exhibits are housed in a restored depot building, and there are other well-preserved buildings to explore. They have a log cabin, schoolhouse, county jail, and more. It's great for kids because it's very accessible and not crowded. The curator is very friendly and helpful. It's also a great resource for anyone interested in the genealogy of the area. They have a lot of interesting things on display for a museum of this size.

  Very well done with several separate buildings. I liked the tonsorial parlor. Our 9 year old was intrigued by the jail cell.
