  This place is not good, the lady who answers the phone is very, very rude, pretty much the worst attitude a human being can have, Jim Saltsman is the owner he gave him own self 5 stars on here lmao, so I probably wouldn't trust any of the 5 stars because these people are messy, qaulity of work is much of a 12 year old kid. They don't clean up after they are done at your home, they have a bunch of misfits working there including the owner amd his wife whom I think is the lady who answers the phone. I can not believe they are still in business. I know friends who I warned them not to call these misfits and they had them do work and they all regret it now, they went Through same issues every one else has already stated with them being rude, messy, way over charge you. Stay away if you know what's good for you.

  I can not say enough good things about Fort Steuben Maintenance. My elderly mother (89) had a main water pipe line break. Three inches of water poured into her basement. Fort Steuben Maintenance showed up quickly and fixed the problem swiftly and correctly. They worked tirelessly late into the evening. Also, Fort Steuben Maintenance reached out to an electrician that was needed and to another company for the water mitigation part of the problem. I feel extremely grateful because Fort Steuben Maintenance saved the day and was able to ease my mother's mind. Fort Steuben Maintenance went above and beyond. They gave a fair price for the job. I will call them in the future for any other plumbing needs. I will continue to recommend Fort Steuben Maintenance to neighbors and friends. Thank you, Fort Steuben Maintenance for doing an outstanding job. * Again, top notch workers that fixed the problem quickly and professionally. * I highly recommend Fort Steuben Maintenance.

  Water was leaking into a light fixture (bathroom) of apartment 2 directly under apartment 4 of a building I own. Fort Steuben Maintenance's plumber said that there was no leak. I called the next day because the water department contacted me that there was a continuous leak in apartment 4. I explained to Susan what happened. She was so rude and keep saying that the water in the light fixture was due to a toilet/shower/tub being ran over. I told her that was not possible because I own the building and if I ran something over I would not call to spend $85.00 if that happened. I live alone so this was impossible. Susan was extremely rude and unwilling to even consider sending someone back to correct the issue. I did try to in good faith to try to correct issue with Fort Steuben Maintenance. I will never do business with Fort Steuben. Maintenance. I do not recommend Fort Steuben Maintenance. Very disappointed because I did do business with this company in the past.
