  They had great customer service when I called. They were able to send someone out the next day for our urgent need. They were able to come early and called me to communicate when they were coming with an hours notice. They came in, did the job and left. Super fast and explained everything to us. They had a good sense of humor and were very friendly. I would definitely recommend 😄

  As landlords, we have used Forbes for years and have always been happy with the quality their work but they recently moved to a fixed price system which really jacked their charges. Our last four bills (for basic jobs like fixing a leaky kitchen faucet or a shower controller that slipped) each cost over $400, even though the tenant of the most recent job said the plumbers were only there about 15 minutes.

  The estimate was quick and thorough, and the office was very responsive and helpful. Everything was fine until the plumber "Huggy" came to perform the repair. I had to remind him to install the pipe on the inside of the wall per the estimate write-up, and then had a confrontation with him due to his bad-faith question and subsequent arguing with me over mask wearing during this our 3rd year of the pandemic. I appreciated that the owner, Sean, was very responsive and understanding to my complaint, stating his employees undergo meetings to avoid this kind of behavior, and he will have a conversation with him on the matter. For those who care and hire Forbes, beware of antagonists such as "Huggy" who come into your home with an axe to grind.
