  DO NOT USE FLORIDA PLUMBING WORKS—THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK !! I had a slow leak in my refrigerator ice maker hose and was unable to turn off the wall pipe (valve wouldn’t turn). Thus had to turn all the water off at the water heater. For whatever reason the plumber chose to cut off the part of the hose that was leaking and added what, I was told a was needle valve. Secondary to the slow leak it was discovered that black mold had formed on the wall, thus I had to place a claim with my insurance company. When the contractor sent by the insurance company came and saw the fix that had been done, one of the 1st things he said was “We have to get a plumber out here to fix this pipe”. Their plumber came and replaced the valve that didn’t work. Being upset because I’d just paid FP Works $190.00 to fix the pipe, and now finding out that it was not done properly, I called the office requesting a refund. They requested and I sent pictures of both fixes. I have not heard from them since. I wish I had read some of these reviews, before I’d hired them. Things can happen, but a reputable business stands behind what their workers do. FLORIDA PLUMBING WORKS DOESN’T. So BUYER BEWARE. IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH ANY WORK THEY DO, DON’T EXPECT ANY RESTITUTION. ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY IN THEIR HANDS, THEY ARE THROUGH WITH YOU!!

  Called these unprofessional people to install a water line. Requested they put a normal insert in the wall so we could connect our ice maker. They did a poor job of running the line, left sawdust where the did their work and did not install the wall insert. Work was worse than a homeowner would do. They unplugged the refrigerator and did not verify it was plugged back in, costing us several hundred dollars in food and 375 dollars for the service call. When we called the owner, he came out to our house and did not listen to our complaint, but screamed in our faces that in this case the customer is wrong because it is not his job to plug the fridge back in where it was unplugged from. These people are the worst business people we have ever dealt with. Just a horrible company!

  I'm a local property manager in the Daytona area. I'm consistently calling Florida Plumbing Works with incredibly complex problems in multi-story condominiums. FPW has the most knowledgeable mechanics in the area. They have NEVER failed to permantly resolve an issue. Fantastic staff, great company.
