  During yesterday's snowstorm when the store was closed (we didn't realize that), Dan stopped and let us in to exchange a pair of gifted-ice skates that were too small. He found the right fit, sharpened the blades, made the trade and sent us on our way. He and staff always give 110% and showed our out of town guests what great customer service is all about.

  I used to automatically go to the Big Box stores. But, when they didn't have what I needed or the quality I wanted my back up was Fergus Home and Hardware. Now they are my first choice instead of my last resort. I can get service right when I enter... and if the clerks are busy it is not uncommon for the local owner to serve me personally. I love to be sold and every trip here is an adventure with new products and what I call the old show and sell. For the full service experience at box store prices...some times even better... I reccomend Fergus Home and Hardware.

  I've had service done on two appliances by Josiah from Fergus Home and Hardware. Both times I've called for service the response has been within a day and the repair has been quick and correct. I also purchased a new range and microwave in the store and the sales staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I'm so happy I discovered this store. We're lucky to have it in our area.
