I knew it would be a big job converting from oil to natural gas & we chose the right company to do it. Totally professional, knowledgeable & efficient. It could have been 2 days of frigid misery but it wasn’t, they even offered extra electric heaters for the duration.  We finally have a reliable heating system installed in a clean & respectful manner. Kudos to Sean, Ryan & Family Danz. Now I know why a friend recommended them & I agree.

I highly recommend Family Danz.  Ed came out to provide us an estimate and he did a great job explaining everything thoroughly.  We were pleasantly surprised when they scheduled our installation within a week of our purchase.  We had Mel and Logan come to do the installation and they did an amazing job!  They were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.  We cannot say enough about our great experience with Family Danz!

I could not be happier with the heating maintenance that Sean performed today, especially with one of my heating units. Sean showed wonderful patience, and a great never quit attitude to make sure that my studio heater was working properly.
The next time I/we call Family Danz for maintenance, I will request Sean.
Also, Sean had a comfortable demeanor with our conversation, regarding questions regarding the work he was performing, or conversation about the Super Bowl.

This review is for the third time having to call for help with my system. Dave came. He is a patient and pleasant young man. He did everything to repair the problem. He made sure I understand the process and what needed to be done, address all the questions and concerns. Josh and Jason came the second time, they're great too. Good knowledgeable workers from this company. Price depends on what's needed but definitely fair. My go to company. Dave's the man. Thank you for all your help.

I own a one hundred year old, two-family rental home in Troy and I'm in the heating business down state. After one year of working with this company, I not only trust them completely, I recommend them to everyone I know in the Capital District. Why?: One of my tenants called me in January because her heat had stopped working. Within half an hour, Family Danz had a Tech there who solved the problem. Another example: When they perform the annual tune up, they automatically changed the thermocouple--no extra charge. My company charges for this in addition to the tune up. Family Danz did not. Last example: Our domestic hot water tanks were installed without expansion tanks by another company. Family Danz quickly solved this problem and brought everything up to code because the original installation wasn't up to par. Family Danz is a throwback to an era when excellent service actually was the goal of everyone in the organization.

I wasn't the type of person who used to write reviews but since I have become a business owner myself, i feel much different about it now. Reviews really are the best way to express "thanks" to that business and let others know they're getting a quality service. I knew I was in need of furnace and ac system that was pushing over 25 years old with annual break downs. I asked for a quote from Family Danz heating and cooling and a representative came to my house and went over everything step by step but MOST importantly they listened to exactly what I wanted and needed. They put together a package that had everything I wanted right down to the uv sterilizer and wifi thermostat. I know it sounds nuts but with a big family we need to be comfy...right. The installation was actually quick since they sent a crew of 4 over. The crew was professional, polite and clean, they even covered the floors all the way down to the basement. I would with out any hesitation recommend Family Danz to anyone needing heating or cooling services.

Replaced a broken furnace with a new one. Sean and Avery were very professional and helpful. They took the time to explain everything and answer my questions. They were respectful and careful of the property. I asked them to wear N95 masks for the entire install (six hours!) and they readily agreed -- very appreciated. I was very happy with the entire experience.

Had Family Danz recently install a ductless heating system in my home and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service.  Cliff the sales representative was timely and great to work with to find the best product for the type of house.  The fellows who came out to install the system Adam and Michael were very efficient, explained in such a way that I could understand the installation process and were just really nice people. They did a three day project in two and I would recommend Family Danz services to anyone with a heating issue

A decent experience.

PROS- They handled the install of a very nice oil boiler and was hands down the best price. The salesman John was professional and helpful. It was a tough job in my old, low, crampy cellar but they pulled it off.

CONS- They have to remove and replace a drain pipe in order to get the unit down the narrow stairs. After the job was completed, a few days later was doing dishes and laundry only to find massive amounts of water pouring out the the pipe where they reconnected it. They also left my clay cellar floor a bit torn up. They also left an oil spill on my clay/dirt floor which still continues to smell up my house, furniture, and clothes weeks later. I called the service desk and they never returned my call. I had to call again a week later. They also did not remove the original unit, costing me another $600 to hire someone to take it out. Also spent an additional $230 on oil smell remover from another company that did not work. Still looking for solutions.

After my third phone call, they did send a service tech out (Chris) to replace the pipe which he did a great job. Very nice and professional. He even took the time to go over the details of the boiler unit they installed (which the original installers did not do). He even gave me his personal phone number to call and give him a status on the pipe repair to ensure there were no leaks.

High marks on PRICE, SALESMANSHIP and the quality of the UNIT. Low marks on WORKMANSHIP and SERVICE, hence the rating of 3 stars.

Today we had our new Bryant heating system installed as promised
Mel and Elijah arrived on time on a Saturday morning and promptly got to work and installed our new system.
Both gentlemen were professional and provided us with all the information we needed in being able to fill out all the required documents.
It was a pleasure having them in our home  and thank all the people involved in getting this set up and running .
