  Ellison Plumbing has been contracted by the builder of our new home, D.R. Horton. We have had nothing but issues with them every time we have a warranty claim to submit. I am not sure if we get treated differently than someone who finds their business without being in a warranty, but it surely can't be worse than what we have been treated like. This company has missed an appointment completely for an issue that is destroying our sink cabinet, not to mention costing inconvenience, time loss at work, & productivity lost at work. Workers then proceeded to show up the next day unannounced early in the morning when no one was home because we were not expecting anyone & have jobs to go to. Several phone calls where left with the company never being returned. Finally communication was established when the manager finally answered the phone. Instead of being respectful and understandable about said miss appointment & unannounced visit she was very rude and unprofessional. There was no apology only an argument & every reason but admitting fault on their end, and trying to justify their behaviors. When confronted about these business failings & telling her when we would next be available, she only continued to get ruder and ruder threatening to not honor the warranty which they are in contract with a major building company and hung up on us. We were not yelling and simply trying to explain the situation and how it is unacceptable behavior, then trying to arrange a time that worked for us seeing as the first agreed to appointment was not honored. This is not our first issue with this company. There workers always show up reeking of marijuana, to the point that it takes hours for it to disappear out of your home. Drugs should not be allowed to be used while working, let a lone driving. The manager is also aware of this behavior and simply does not care. A simple I am sorry how can we fix this is all we were looking for not a denial of nothing wrong happening, receiving threats, and then being hung up on. The person who is in charge of handling warranty services from D.R.Horton in our area is investigating the complaints and issues with company, I don't know what the result will be, but it is being addressed.

  This is the second time I have had to call on Ellison Plumbing. Both times the technician was courteous, on time, knowledgeable, and was able to fix my issues in a timely manner. He also was very clean and neat and did not make a mess with his repairs. His name is Todd.
