I was charged $350 to replace 2 valves 2 hoses under my bathroom sink.  I HAD THE PARTS  Then  flip a seal on the toilet 🚽 my son had already put together!!!! They OVER CHARGED ME BY $150 according to the average cost!   By the next day there was water under my sink!  Now with a container to catch the water     I EXPECT GOOD WORK FOR HONEST PAY!   I GOT NEITHER.   WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

We stand by our service, products, and pricing – in fact: our pricing hasn’t changed since 2001 and has always been priced by the job and not by the hour. These prices are calculated based on the industry average.
Unfortunately, it seems the provided valves and hoses didn’t perform at the appropriate level and exemplify why we prefer providing the needed products. Even still, we called and attempted to set up a return service call at no cost but the customer refused.

We have used Dyser twice in the last 3 months and both times they were here quickly and were able to fix our issues (install new water heater and slow leak under the sink) very timely.  They explained the repairs thoughly and showed the old parts to us as well.

From ease of making the appointment to the professional and courteous plumbers who arrived on-time to trace the leak, our experience with Dyser was outstanding.  I would highly recommend them for honesty and professionalism.

I couldn’t make the appointment but my wife was home. They took advantage of the fact she knows nothing about plumbing and charged more than 10x what the job was worth. Replacing a toilet fill valve and 2 screws they told her they had to “rebuild” the tank. They charged us $280 to replace a toilet fill valve. Scumbags. Don’t call them.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We pride ourselves in being fair, open and honest about our pricing. After arriving at your house and inspecting the toilet, we showed your wife what the problem was and provided several options at different price points that ranged from (at the lowest end) fixing the problem to (the highest end) fixing the problem and preventing further problems as well. After she called to review the prices with you, she told us that the toilet has been a headache and to go ahead and complete the toilet rebuild. We were transparent about the pricing and the fact that replacing the water measuring device was not necessary, but preventative, for future problems. To address your comments about “replacing a toilet fill valve and 2 screws”: in order to replace the Douglas valve and the tank to bowl gasket underneath the tank, the entire tank of the toilet has to be removed. At that point you can remove the faulty tank to bowl gasket and bolts, remove the Douglas valve, and begin to replace all of the parts as quoted. These parts ensure that no water leaks between the tank and the bowl. If you would like to call the office, we can discuss different options, including a potential credit for future work. I called Dyser and got prompt courteous service. They did a great job,  at a reasonable price and due to the COVID-19 sanitized what they had worked with and touched to clean up the area.
