  Not professional at all. Doesn’t pick up calls or texts, or respond in general. Work is very mediocre, if not, simply flat out terrible. Parts missing, scammed for prices, and used for business. Makes broken promises, and treats customers like numbers. Doesn’t care. Grew up in the north shore, and still reside with my three kids and husband today. Never experienced something as bad as this locally. We went through at least a month with no heat this past late winter and early spring when it snowed. Scam, don’t hire!!

  Get a firm price quote in advance of committing to having them respond to a service call or perform work. 1.5 hrs furnace troubleshooting on a Saturday requiring NO PARTS generated a charge >$500. I now remember why I stopped using them 10 year ago - when I had a similar experience.

  Our heat went out about a year after my wife and I bought our house and we called Dykeman to fix the furnace since they were the company that installed it. They came over and repaired a part that was under warranty. The guy said the part is normally on the truck but wasn't that day. He came back the next day and finished the repair. We got the bill and were surprised that the repair costs us over $600. After looking closer at the invoice, he had charged us for time calling to order the part and driving to and from the shop to get the part that is normally on the truck. A year later, our heat went out again and we went with a more trustworthy repair place and when they went to repair the part, they found that it was poorly installed. Not only did Dykeman nickel and dime us, they did the job poorly. I would strongly suggest working with another company for any heating needs.
