  Scheduled a time frame 8-1 which is ample. No follow up from them. I followed up at 1:30 was told running late wait another 30-45 min re driver. @3:00 called again answering service message. @ 3:20 no response still. Will cancel.

  This will be a long review, because it is hard to describe how great our experience was in a few words. I discovered the pump in our septic tank had failed, and called the company that we had used to pump our tank for several years. They advised me that it would be 2-3 weeks before they could even come out to look at it, so I started calling around until I found one (A1) that said they could be there the next day (Saturday). At noon on Saturday, I started calling to see when someone would be out...no answer and no voicemail. At about 4:00, after several more attempts with no answer, I started calling around again and Duck Duck Rooter answered. They were able to set me up for an emergency appointment on Sunday. The technician that showed up opened the tank and showed me that there was sludge or something below the waterline. He advised that he did not want to put a pump in until he knew what he was dealing with, so he called for a pump truck, which arrived within about an hour. After pumping it out, the tech discovered (and showed me) that groundwater was leaking into the tank--the tank had failed and needed to be replaced. They were able to get us up and running on a temporary solution until a permanent one could be put in place. After discussing it, we decided to replace the drain field as well, due to its age and the signs that it was nearing the end of its useful life. After the permitting process was completed, we received the quote from Duck Duck for our new system. We had been so happy with the responsiveness and work so far, that we were upset that the price came in significantly higher than expected. I called and spoke with one of the owners (Jeff), and he asked if he and another owner could come out to the house to look over the project and talk about our concerns. Jeff and the other owner (Mike?), came out and I was impressed by how much time they spent with me, explaining the cost and discussing alternatives (re-using "good" dirt from our old mound, switching from a 3/1 to a 5/1 slope, etc.) which not only lowered out cost, but improved the aesthetics of the mound greatly. I still wanted to get other estimates, so I called a couple of other well-reviewed companies in town. Neither company ever set foot on our property, and the estimates were no better. We sent the deposit check to Duck Duck and they scheduled our job. The installation team showed up early, asked for my input multiple times during the project, and only had our sewer cut off for a total of about 2 hours. They cleaned up when done, and only left slight ruts in my yard from the heavy dump trucks. It was as quality of a job as I could imagine anyone doing. Other companies may do similar quality work (I doubt it), but the effort and communication Duck Duck put in to alleviate our concerns was far beyond anything we have seen from anyone in their industry. We are Duck Duck customers from now on, and will recommend them to anyone that asks.

  This wonderful team of individuals made my day twice with fast service. I needed my septic pumped out and they were able to come out the same day! I had another concern and called them back, they sent one of the owners the same day. It was nice to be treated fairly and not rushed while discussing a plan to keep things moving. The owner as well as the guys that did the pump out were very nice and professional. I’ve dealt with a few other septic companies since moving to Florida and this company has by far been the best one. I wish I would have found them sooner!
