  Rough start. Our house needs some foundation repair, so I called several companies to come and quote. All of them said they would not have an opening to examine our house for several weeks. Du-West was actually the first available, so that is a plus. Our house has had foundation repair performed in the past (by previous owner) and the work we were told had a lifetime transferable warranty. After doing some digging I discovered it was performed by Du-West. I decided to call Du-West back to inform them of the previous repairs so the person coming out would have a history of the property. Then the associate who I was speaking to asked if I filled out a warranty transfer form within 30 days of buying the house, I said I hadn't. She proceeded to tell me then the previous work does not have any warranty. I really wish anyone had mentioned that, at any point. Although their website states "Du-West stands behind every repair" I guess that statement expires when you move. I am still having them come out and quote the "new" rework. I will re-post after that.

  This is the WORST foundation company, if you want to be frustrated or disappointed you can call them. Just Horrible job and unprofessional service. Their field representative for Corpus Christi has very poor knowledge of what customer service is and for sure he will try to empty your pockets. Bought house and paid their “life time warranty” on repairs they did on previous years which of course Do not respect. Rudy is an untrustworthy, rude, unprofessional... he is the very good example of what Du-West company represents. First time he arrived to do the assessment provided one price and at the time of the work pull out a bunch of excuses to charge more. Even His own employees complained about field supervisor Rudy Soliz being very irresponsable. 3 days of work always arrived late, promised to be at 8am to start the work but then sending his guys at 1pm to location and just after several calls asking for him. Seems like time for him is nothing. He didn’t even showed up more likely afraid of his own irresponsibility. Then charged more for a poor job. Appointment assistances are similar. According to them they don’t have any authority to answer questions, take decisions, etc etc but they also prevent from You speak to whoever have a decision making or a manager because prob they know better that Own/represent a very awful company. I’ve been waiting for a company representative call back for more than a month. So watch for any mistakes they made or any complaints you may have after a job is completed or any paperwork missing. On their paperwork have statements that will do a clean job etc, but after it is done you will get a mess around the area in this case driveway/yard that won’t get removed. Du-West can’t give you a report because they don’t have an engineer, Rudy’s words. So on this 2020 you can’t even get the electronic readings or a formal report of their work. Zero quality Zero customer service Poor management Just Avoid getting in troubles

  I had Du-west go out last year and give me a quote on doing some foundation work. At the start of the job my gas line broke and no one said anything. I had gas leaking for 3 days before i realized that the smell was coming from under the house. I had to pay for the repair as the city had taken my gas meter so i had no other option. My foundation work was done and i believed they did what i had paid them to do. A year later i start doing siding repairs and have some to find that there are so many rotten joists that i have had to pay another company to replace. The shims that were used have completely rusted out, the blocks that were "replaced" were not truly replaced. Overall i'm extremely upset and would not recommend Du-west. I talked to Kevin about these issues and he offered no help. I paid them 6K last year and now I'm paying another company to fix what they should have done.
