  New to the area and in need of water filtration I reached out to neighbors for recommendations for plumbing services. Doby’s was highly recommended so I called as described the issue I was having with iron in my well water. The receptionist was very polite and said that the company owner’s son Jared would come to my home and provide a recommendation and estimate to correct the problem. When Jared arrived he was professional and worked quickly to test the water and offer a recommendation and estimate to install a water filtration system. I immediately accepted the recommendation and called the company same day to schedule the work and pay the 50% deposit. Almost a month later two technicians showed up to install the filtration system. During the process they indicated that my pressure tank located inside my home was defective (the same tank that had been inspected by Well Doctor a few weeks prior and found to be in working order). Concerned about additional cost I ask that the work be rescheduled to provide time for the company to obtain and install a new pressure tank alongside the new filter to prevent having to undo the plumbing connections to the new filter and then reinstall all of the connections at a later date. The technicians were concerned about “losing” a day if they were to reschedule the installation. They decided to consult Jared by phone who instruction them to simply remove the pressure tank as it was “not needed.” The new filter system was installed and the technicians left. In the hours and days that followed I observed a noticeable drop in my water pressure throughout my home. I decided to wait to see if the pressure problem would somehow equilibrate over time. When I realized that there was a significant issue with the water pressure I called Doby’s and described the problem to the gentleman who answered the phone and ask if Jared would call me. Four days later no call. I called Doby’s again and ask if Jared would call me which he did same day. I described the problem and Jared insisted the issue must be with the “alleged” pressure tank buried at the well head and that he or someone in the office would come out and perform a “draw down” test on the well at no cost. A day passed and I heard nothing from Jared or Doby’s about scheduling the draw down test. I again called Jared and described the problem and I informed him that Well Doctor had already performed a draw down test and the results were satisfactory. In an almost passive aggressive manner Jared offered to return and install my “defective” pressure tank that they had removed from my home a few weeks earlier. I instructed Jared that all I wanted was for Doby’s to remedy the water pressure issue that THEY created and if it required a new pressure tank that I would gladly pay for it along with any money owed as they (Doby’s) had not invoiced me the balance of the work performed 6 weeks earlier. Jared agreed and said he would contact the office and someone would reach out to me within the hour to schedule the repairs. An hour passes, no call. Next day, no call. All I wanted to do was to pay this company to fix a problem that they created and there seems to be absolutely no interest on their part. Disappointed beyond belief.

  I called Dobys at 7:30pm on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised to find that someone answered and was willing to help. They were having a busy night so I expected that someone wouldn’t be able to come out until at least the next day. Around 9pm we got a call that they could head our way and I was shocked. We were so thankful that they were willing to come out and help even though it was a late night for them. The crew was friendly, experienced and eager to do the job! Highly recommend Dobys if you’re in the area.

  We needed a septic tank pumped out for a backed up toilet that wouldn't go down for our grandmother. They worked us in that day and arrived around 2pm. The employee, a Mr. Gore, was kind, professional and very determined to find the septic tank. It was hot outside but he persisted until he found the tank, the lid being about a foot and a half down. He was alone for most of the job but he was one of the most hard working young men I have met! We appreciated him and Doby's for being willing to take care of my grandmother on such short notice. The price was not bad for the work that was done and we even got a small discount for paying with cash! I would definitely use Doby's again for a septic pump and request Mr. Gore to do the job. He was amazing!
