I would not use Dirks agiain.  They charged me over $500.00 to put in  two 3 foot wires that I supplied.  The tech spent approximately 1 hour servicing my furnace.  The tech was great.  The company gouged me on the price.

Person that answered the phone was rude! If you need furnace repair due to no heat when it’s cold out don’t call them! Even though they offer 24/7 service they don’t give it!

We greatly apologize that we were unable to assist you this morning. We are currently facing a full schedule with half of our service staff out with illness. Each person that we have spoken to has been given multiple options to call including our local competitors. We do not enjoy having to deny customers service, but when the schedule is full, it's full, and unfortunately the only way to accommodate you would be to cancel our previously scheduled customers. We offer for anyone to contact Barron Plumbing and Heating, Fire and Ice, and Pineview Woodstoves if necessary and hope that they are able to fit you in.

We had a new furnace and duct system installed in our house and couldn't be happier with Dirks service. Got a good quote from Todd (sales) and started work right away, Fred and crew did an amazing job with our place, definitely recommend Dirks and will be using them for all our heating and cooling needs. On our new build cabin, we were left with an unfinished, mess from another local HVAC /electrical contractor.... 3 other HVAC companies  declined, when trying to find a co. to repair/ finish our HVAC... Jeff at Dirks said, we  had a mess but could be repaired....

Irv and the team at Dirk's installed a new AC unit for our home. Irv was great to work with. The two installers were good, but some of the work wasn't entirely professional. They never explained how to use the system, they forgot to hook a thermostat wire up (resulted in a service call when we went to use the furnace) and I had a few other small concerns. For the considerable investment that a new AC unit is, I expected a tad more attention to detail - hence 4/5 stars.  Overall I think it's a great company whom I would refer my friends to.

The costumer service was good and response was great but cost was unbelievably high! For a $25 easy to change part and less then an hour it cost us $281.69. This was midway on a Thursday so not even an emergency call. I won’t be calling again.

Thank you for your honest feedback. When we send our service technicians out to any job, they leave with a fully stocked truck for helping fix most issues on the spot. The part, labor, travel time, etc. is part of the business, and we strive to stay competitive in this area.

We called at 9:30pm stating our furnace went out. The fan seized up, it says they are 24/7. All they did was take our name and #; then said they would give us a call. Never asked if we had any other heat source. That was it, then we never recieved a call!! What part of my furnace isn't working didn't this girl understand?! In 25 degree weather!!! We have small children in our home we kind of need our heat.

Ben called ahead of time and I knew when he was at our cabin. He called again when finished to report that all was fine. Ben gave helpful advice on the proper temperature to be held when we are not there. He was very friendly and polite. Thank you Dirks

Needed a new furnace during the coldest days of the winter.  We had used them before to maintenance our current furnace, so we called them.  They came and assessed the situation and discussed what they found with me, and at that time I found that it was not worth repairing but replacing instead.  So that was a repair person, so now I have to have a sales person and mind you it is (-20).  He comes meets with me and my hubby, gives us options, prices, and warranties.  Never once says warranties only valid if you sign up for a service agreement with us.  Not even mentioned, until you have it installed.
So we pick our model, etc.  Next in middle of a snow storm our furnace just gets dumped in our driveway.  We have a pole shed, leanto, and garden shed.  Noone says a word, and my hubby is not happy our hard earned money is just sitting out there getting snowed on with no regard.  I do believe he went outside himself and covered it with a tarp for the night until installation crew came next day.
Installation took at least 12 hours.  This was just the furnace and not the A/C unit.  And I am a veteran. After it was installed I believe the next day or two it flooded our basement and had to be serviced.
This year beginning of fall I was going to call to have them service it and it again flooded my basement.  I called and already had to have it repaired again.  It is one year old, and is supposed to have a 20 year replacement warranty on the unit.  Also, after the fact I found out the price I paid I could have gotten the furnace and A/C done at the same time for the cost I paid just for the furnace alone.  And they want me to still purchase the A/c unit replacement, which I do need to get a replacement but not at that high of cost again.
Sometimes being a strong woman in this world is hard!!!

This place is SHADY!!! they could easily fix ur furnace but will tell u to replace the whole thing!!! They prey on the elderly cause they dont know any better...they said my furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and my A coil for the ac was shot...i had Barron plumbing and heating inspect my furnace...the heat exchanger WAS NOT CRACKED and they didn't even check the A COIL....if u have money to burn ul love this place!!! If u want an honest company go with Barron plumbing and heating

When the technician came to my house they immediately diagnose the problem and got us on the way to heating are home again with a brand new bike in heating system can’t beat their warranty either 12 years parts and labor

Dirks is great! We’ve always had a good experience when calling and our tech Phil is awesome! Nicest guy ever and he knows his stuff, I trust him when he tells me something is up.  He’s never let us down. No matter where you go or who you have come out, it’s expensive. 6 years we’ve been with Dirks and have never had an issue and great service.  I feel like Phil has gone out of his way to help us. Big huge THANKS Phil!
