  James was very professional and knowledgeable. After my handyman installed garbage disposal, 3 leaks appeared within plumbing under kitchen sink. James arrived within a few hours of calling DiMartino! He redid my entire plumbing, which not only looks great, I have more room too! Highly recommend!

  Company installed a aquasana water filter system. The UV light leaked on replacement less than a year after install. Called company back and they quoted my older parents $1000 to replace the UV light. I called Aquasana and it was under warranty. Aquasana stated they should have told us that and also told us the install was done incorrectly. When I told Aquasana how they put in the system and sent them pictures they were shocked that DiMartino glued everything in place preventing it from being disconnected as the system should be to service and replace parts. I called DiMartino and told them we were disappointed that they would try to charge us for parts that were under warranty and they blew it off. Knowing the system was less than a year old they should have inquired and or told us to ask the manufacturer before quoting us for brand new parts which were under warranty. Not informing us was shady business and we certainly will not use or recommend their services.

  Hi K V. I’m disappointed that we didn’t give you the top-notch experience we strive to give all all our customers. We’ve taken some time to do a little internal investigating, including speaking with the manufacturer, and it seems we had a misunderstanding about the options that were available to your parents. Hopefully, I can shed some clear some things up. Replacing the system was the one option that we could handle entirely and that we could guarantee. The alternative, which we might not have conveyed as well as we should have, was to attempt to replace the UV light. That alternative had a couple caveats: the system’s actual owner would have to contact the manufacturer to get the part under warranty and, because there had been some damage due to another party’s maintenance accident, we couldn’t guarantee the replacement. With respect to gluing: certain components that lack threads, like PVC pipes and PVC unions, must be glued in place and must use specific adhesives. But if you see some particular component that doesn’t require glue but has glue, please let us know. Please feel free to call us at 561-733-0500. We’d be happy to walk you through our rationale!

  I’ve never had to write a review based on just pricing but I have never been quoted such a high price for a toilet repair. We paid a $85 service call fee for the technician to quote over $400 (each toilet) to replace fill valve, flush valve, flapper. They were fast responding and the technician was professional.
