Was a beautiful drive from Denali National

We hiked partially around Byers lake.

Hiking was quite and peaceful.

Would suggest going here!!!

Trammell. Vistas.  No services.   Go there sndcsee it.  It's amazing

To truly experience the park, you should hike its trails and off the beaten path.  The 4.5 mile Savage river hike is a good one.  I wouldn't recommend for young kiddos but older kids are fine.  Be sure to bring a windbreaker as it gets windy towards the top.

Even though we never saw the mountain I was the thrill of a lifetime seeing all the wildlife: grizzlies, fall sheep, caribou, fox, eagles, ground squirrels, geese, ducks...anyway you get the idea.
Plus the scenery is magnificent. Everyone should see his area and thank Steward for purchasing it.

We took the Princess Train up from Anchorage and stayed several nights at the Princess Denali Lodge. Lots to see and the lodge is very large with several restaurants, gift shops etc. A fairly easy walk to the park where you can hike or board the tour bus. So much to see with several stops along the way. Next trip I would fly to Fairbanks and take the train to Anchorage then the cruise to Vancouver.
