  We hired Steve Davis to help finish our kitchen project and install two new faucets and connect two under mounted already installed sinks. New countertops, backsplash were already installed. Spent 7 - 8 hours messing with the sinks. Final result, 1 still leaked and the other drained very slowly. We hired another plumber who completed the job with new parts in less than an hour. He did an excellent, but very slow job removing and replacing the wood base of the cabinet under the sink as well as installing a chandelier and 2 ceiling drop pendant lights. However, he didn’t paint/touch up the ceiling where the other fluorescent fixture was or around the new drop down lights. In addition, he somehow chipped the new granite counter. He also did well spackling, sanding & repainting around the new back splash, but installed the dimmer switch upside down. There were several other items he completed satisfactorily, including touching up the cabinets, installing a new shower head & rewiring a wall outlet. I supplied all parts except ceiling boxes for the chandelier and 2 drop lights. Final bill for approximately 30 hours of labor was $1940 or about $60/hr after parts. His idea of detail was to list everything he did and then put a number at the bottom, no detail whatsoever.
