Davis Unlimited, LLC was truly a wonderful experience. I am very thankful I called for their services. They are not only professional at what they do, but also reliable and dependable. They remodeled my home and they offered me a very reasonable quote, the end result, exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Davis Unlimited, LLC for all remodeling and water restoration needs.

Really hate to write reviews but this needed to be said to hopefully help the next customers. Hired them to do plumbing job but initially they suggested in taking our floors up we still don't know till this day why that had to be done, they removed two of our bathroom floors and a toilet in the middle of them doing the work they found out our home insurance was paying for the job so they completely stop and started being more interested and eager to know how much the insurance was going to cut the check out for per advice from our insurance company and we even consulted with the inspector, and also with professional advisor just to be sure we where advised not to disclose the amount to them because we could be overly charged noted that we had already paid out of pocket for them to even start the job so money was NOT the issue here. After a couple of weeks of waiting to hear back from them got a call from a female claiming to work at the office demanded to know how much money did our insurance wrote the check for we refused to give that type of information per advised from professional to them the female then passed the phone to her boss and stated " Get this Phone before I curse them out" at that point the whole situation became rude and unprofessional with them was even hung up on twice after trying to reason with them . The next day received a call from the head person stating that because we couldn't tell them the amount that they could no longer do the job pics are the condition they left our home in would not recommend them to anyone. But this is Just our personal experience with this company.

Dinah, First of all, thank you for your review and the pictures of the mitigation to your Father's home. These reviews always help us to see where we can improve. We are very sorry you are displeased with the way we conduct our business. However, we are pleased that your parents were happy with the first phase of the work, as they did sign a certificate of satisfaction (COS) for the mitigation. Just so we are on the same page...Davis Unlimited is not a plumbing company. Your Father called a plumbing company to determine what was leaking and to repair the leak. We were not called to fix a plumbing leak. Your Father called us to repair the damage the leak had caused. Evidently, the shower valve in one of your parent's bathrooms was leaking and that caused the damage to both bathrooms. The water traveled down, inside the wall under 2 layers of vinyl flooring and damaged the subfloor in both bathrooms. The flooring was removed so that we could dry the subfloor in all affected areas. We also removed part of the drop ceiling in the basement so we could direct fans to the wet underside of the subfloor. I hope this answers some of your unknowns. Within a half hour of your Father contacting us, one of our mitigation team members met with your parents to discuss the phases of the project. He had them sign mitigation and construction contracts and also helped them file a claim with their insurance company. The claim, and the understanding that this loss was covered, were known before any work was started. Davis Unlimited has performed thousands of mitigation and construction projects and we have many, many happy customers. Our process is simple when it comes time for the construction aspect of the loss. Your parents received an estimate and a check from their insurance company for what they thought the job entailed and what it would cost to put your parents home back together. We explained to your parents, and to you, that we needed to see this estimate for 2 reasons. 1) To make sure they did not miss anything that needed to be done to put your parents home back to pre-loss condition. And 2) If there were missing items, we could submit a supplement and get paid for any additional work missed on their estimate. I have 25 years of experience in this industry and found it very hard to believe that your adjuster or insurance company would tell you folks to keep your estimate a secret. In fact, we called your adjuster and insurance company to find out if their practices had changed. We were told "we would never tell a customer to not share the estimate with the vendor." One of the worst things in this industry are money surprises. What if we completed your job and our bill was higher than what was paid to your folks by the insurance company? Who would pay that? I'm sure your folks would want their insurance to pay. So...by submitting a supplement on your parents behalf, we get the insurance company to pay the full value of the claim, upfront, so there are no surprises when the job is complete. And yes, money is ALWAYS the issue. Your parents paid, to us, $100 towards their $1000 dollar deductible and wanted to work out a payment plan for the $900 balance. We are not a bank or a lending institution. The deductible is always the responsibility of the insured. Further, it was explained, to you, that if you were not willing to share your insurance company's estimate with us or pay the balance of your deductible then we would not be able to continue the job for your parents. And lastly, your insurance company paid us in full for the mitigation. We are sending your parents a check for the $100 received against their deductible. Thank you.

Thank you Jim for working with the seller and the buyer (me) on a home to fix some unfortunate water damage that the inspector caught. Jim worked with the seller on what they wanted to put back on the kitchen floor and then worked with me because I wanted something different. I ended up only having to pay the difference of the two. In addition, a HUGE thank you goes out to the installers, Justin and Jeremy. They are a great team and did fantastic work. I am extremely pleased with the end results. My new kitchen flooring is beautiful!!!
