  Having used David Ashcom's business for many years, I have always found their technicians on time, courteous, professional and efficient. The techs always explain what they are going to do and express any concerns about my ac/heat before any work/ charge or change is to be done. I have a maintenance agreement and they are prompt and honest. I highly recommend this business and I like that they seem to keep the same employees for a long time so that you develop a pleasant working relationship and know who is knocking at your door.

  Had no aux heat during recent single digit cold snap.Heat pump thermostat was programmed from the factory to switch to alternate fossil fuel (which we did not have) when aux / emergency heat called for at 15 degree or lower outside. This was discovered by David Ashcom and his techs after a diagnostic service call.They re-programmed to switch to strip heat. Ashcom Heating & Cooling was very thorough and professional. Will be using them for all future services.

  Jairus, the repair tech, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a thorough explanation on what issues he found and how he could correct. The short, our HVAC was using an exorbitant amount of energy during the frigid temps. He found we had a greater than standard amount of heat strips and lowered a blower setting. He also relocated our thermostat which had been initially installed in the worst possible location in our house. We had been telling previous maintenance people about our overall problem and received no suggestions, corrections or follow-up. Would I recommend David Ashcom H&C? A hardy "Yes!"
